Porte-Joie

Porte-de-Seine is a commune in the department of Eure, northern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2018 by merger of the former communes of Porte-Joie (the seat) and Tournedos-sur-Seine.

On 1 January 2018, it was merged into the new commune of Porte-de-Seine.The village has approximately 25 houses, all of them situated in the banks of the river Seine. The small town has a well known occurrence at sunset for the cliffs on the other side of the river to turn pink, and welcomes its own family of cormorants, swans and ducks, as well as other wildlife.

The Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge is a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, played at the Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil in Le Vaudreuil, France. It was played for the first time in July 2013. Brinson Paolini won the inaugural tournament.
