Lake Kristi is a private water skiing-site located in Greenville, North Carolina containing two artificial lakes. The lake is named after former water skiing champion Kristi Overton Johnson. Although specifically designed for water skiing, Lake Kristi is also used as a cross country course.

Red Banks Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located between Meeting House Branch and E. Firetower Road in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The original church building was set on fire on December 30, 1863, by Union forces under the command of Col. Joseph M. McChesney. It was rebuilt in 1893 and is a one-story, frame, gable front, rectangular, building measuring approximately 50 feet by 30 feet. It is two bays wide and five bays deep and sits on a brick pier foundation. Located on the property is the contributing church cemetery with less than 20 markers.The Red Banks Primitive Baptist Church was deeded to the Pitt County Historical Society in May 2000.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

D.H. Conley High School is a high school in Greenville, North Carolina. It was founded in 1970 and named for Donald Hayes Conley, an educational leader and former superintendent of Pitt County Schools.

Wahl-Coates Elementary School is an elementary school located in Greenville, North Carolina. It is one of 16 elementary schools located within Pitt County. It is in a unique partnership with Pitt County Schools (PCS) and East Carolina University. The university used its funds to build the facility, while PCS furnished the school. Wahl-Coates sits on 17.3 acres (7.0 ha). It used to be located in two different areas on the East Carolina campus.

Dowdy–Ficklen Stadium is the on-campus football facility at East Carolina University for the East Carolina Pirates in Greenville, North Carolina. The official capacity of the stadium is 51,000, tying it for the second largest college stadium in North Carolina. The record attendance for the stadium was on September 3, 2022, against North Carolina State University with 51,711 in attendance. The stadium is also the site of Spring Commencement exercises for the university. The field itself was commemorated as Bagwell Field in 1997.

Clark–LeClair Stadium is a baseball park located on the campus of East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. It is the home field of the East Carolina Pirates of the American Athletic Conference. The stadium was named after Pirate alumnus and contributor Bill Clark and former Pirates coach Keith LeClair. ECU's current head coach is Cliff Godwin. The stadium has 3,000 stadium bleacher seats, plus space for several thousand more spectators in "The Jungle." There are concession and restroom facilities at the stadium, plus a family picnic area. Amenities include the Pirate Club fundraising and hospitality suite and a private suite for the LeClair family. The venue was built with $11 million in private donations. The playing surface consists of Celebration Bermuda turf with a clay base infield and crushed-brick warning track. New lights were included in the construction of the stadium that meet all television specifications. Facilities include indoor and outdoor batting cages, a VIP booth, coach's offices, and a player clubhouse, as well as state-of-the-art broadcast facilities. The dimensions of the outfield are 320 feet (98 m) down the foul lines and 390 feet (119 m) to center field. The diamond has an unorthodox northwesterly alignment (home plate to center field); the recommended orientation is east-northeast. The elevation of the field is approximately 70 feet (21 m) above sea level. The stadium is home to the 2007 ECU Invitational and Keith LeClair Classic The Pirates consistently rank in the top thirty among Division I baseball programs in attendance.

Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena in Greenville, North Carolina, US. The arena opened in 1968. It is home to the East Carolina University Pirates men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. The facility underwent a complete renovation prior to the 1994–95 season and seats 8,000 people. The building was named for the Minges and Williams families in honor of their longstanding support of the University.

The College of Business is the business school at East Carolina University. Founded in 1936, and claiming distinction as the second oldest business school in North Carolina, the College houses both undergraduate and graduate students. The College's undergraduate programs were accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 1967, and the College's graduate programs were accredited by the AACSB in 1976. Out of North Carolina's 23 business schools, ten, including ECU, are accredited by the AACSB. It is a part of the GMAC governing body. The College grants two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. The College grants two graduate degrees, the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Accounting, as well as opportunities for a dual degree with the Brody School of Medicine. The College places a heavy emphasis on its tight-knit and residential character, and has a student population that hovers over 3,000 students and a full-time faculty of 117. In 2004, East Carolina became one of the first universities in the United States to offer the MBA completely online. In 2012, East Carolina's online MBA ranked third nationally and first in North Carolina for quality and affordability.

The College View Historic District is a national historic district located north of East Carolina University at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 343 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Greenville. It includes buildings dated from about 1909 to World War II and notable examples of Bungalow / American Craftsman, Colonial Revival, and Tudor Revival architecture. Notable buildings include St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1930), the Rotary Club Building (1921), Chancellor's Residence (former William H. Dail Jr. House, 1921–1930), William Harrington House, Bateman House (1910), Franklin Vines Johnston House (1923), and Dr. Paul Fitzgerald House (1929).In March 1992, College View was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
