Bodellick

Wadebridge and Padstow Rural District was a local government division of Cornwall in England, UK, between 1968 and 1974. The rural district was created in 1968 through the abolition of Padstow Urban District and Wadebridge Rural District.In 1974 the district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, forming part of the new North Cornwall district.

The Royal Cornwall Agricultural Show, usually called the Royal Cornwall Show, is an agricultural show organised by the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, which takes place at the beginning of June each year, at Wadebridge in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The showground is on the south side of the A39 main road and between the hamlets of St Breock and Whitecross. Members of the Royal family often attend at the Show, including Prince Charles who is a supporter of the farming community. Princess Alexandra attended the 2009 show. The show lasts for three days and attracts approximately 120,000 visitors annually.

Splatt is a small settlement in north Cornwall, England, at grid reference SW 945 763. It lies in St Minver Lowlands parish between Pityme and Rock, although the buildings along the Rock Road are continuous.It should not be confused with Splatt in the parish of Tresmeer.

Porthilly (Cornish: Porthhyli) is a small coastal settlement on the east side of the River Camel estuary in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated immediately south of the larger village of Rock approximately four miles (6.5 km) northwest of Wadebridge.The settlement is in the civil parish of St Minver Lowlands. It is on the south side of Porthilly Cove, an estuarine bay with a level intertidal beach.St Michael's church, an ancient chapelry of St Minver parish, stands on the seawall above the cove. First mentioned in a deed dated 1299, the building has Norman features and was substantially restored in 1867. It has a chancel and nave, a south transept and a bell turret containing one bell.In the churchyard to the south of the church is a medieval four holed cross. It is listed Grade II.

Pityme () is a small village at grid reference SW 952 767 in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Pityme is at the junction of the road from Wadebridge to Polzeath and the road from St Minver to Rock. It straddles the boundary between the civil parishes of St Minver Highlands and St Minver Lowlands. It is situated between Tredrizzick and Splatt although the villages form one contiguous settlement. The public house is the Pityme Inn and there is a small trading estate south of the village. The name of the village has its origins in a tragic tale of loss at sea. The skipper of a fishing vessel set to sea despite the deteriorating weather. All hands were lost. The women of the village went, as a group, to the widow of the captain to berate her for her husband's culpability in their widowhood. She explained: "I have lost my husband too, so you should also pity me" - hence Pityme Inn. Another story refers to the sea having been closer to the village and is a corruption of the French expression petite mer (small sea). Similar tales are told of Pity Me in County Durham.

Trevanson (Cornish: Trevansyn) is a small hamlet in north Cornwall in England. It is on the northern fringe of Wadebridge in the civil parish of St Breock. The A39 bypass effectively separates Trevanson from the rest of Wadebridge and the hamlet is connected to the town by a bridge.The hamlet has about 20 homes. Footpaths lead from Trevanson to the nearby village of Edmonton and also across country to Tregunna and the Camel Trail, the foot and cycle path linking Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin.
