Bedmond

Longspring Wood is a 1.2-hectare (3.0-acre) nature reserve managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust in Kings Langley in Hertfordshire.The main trees in this small wood are oak, ash, wild cherry and hazel, and there is a display of bluebells in the spring. Birds include warblers, finches and tits, and there are mammals such as foxes and badgers.There is access by a footpath between houses in Toms Lane.

Bedmond and Primrose Hill is a ward in Three Rivers, in England, the United Kingdom. It is located in south-west Hertfordshire, in the East of England region. The ward includes Bedmond and a sparsely populated area to the north. It lies north of the M25 motorway, which separates the ward from Abbots Langley, and is bordered by Kings Langley to the west, and Hemel Hempstead to the north. Slightly to the east of the ward is the M1 motorway. Bedmond elects two members to Three Rivers District Council. It is represented by two Liberal Democrat councillors (Joy Mann and Richard Laval). For elections to Hertfordshire County Council, Bedmond and Primrose Hill is part of the Abbots Langley division, represented by the Liberal Democrat Paul Goggins. For elections to the House of Commons, the ward is primarily in the St Albans constituency, but the southern part lies in Watford. As of the 2010 election, the ward is entirely within the St Albans constituency.

Leavesden Mental Hospital was a mental health facility at Leavesden on the outskirts of Abbots Langley in Hertfordshire.

Abbots Langley is a large village and civil parish in the English county of Hertfordshire. It is an old settlement and is mentioned (under the name of Langelai) in the Domesday Book. Economically the village is closely linked to Watford and was formerly part of the Watford Rural District. Since 1974 it has been included in the Three Rivers district.

The Centurion Club is a golf club in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. The club opened in 2013. It has hosted the GolfSixes series in 2017 and 2018 and the Aramco Team Series. The club held the first event of the first LIV Golf Invitational Series in June 2022.The course was designed by Simon Gidman.

The Hanwha LifePlus International Crown is a biennial women's professional team golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. Eight national teams of four players each (32 players in total) participate in the match play event.

Leavesden is a residential and commercial area in the northern part of Watford, England. It lies within the M25 Motorway. On its eastern side it is bounded by the M1 Motorway. Leavesden is split into two councils which are Watford Borough Council and Three Rivers District Council. Leavesden Green is an adjoining residential community which lies partly in Three Rivers and partly in the Borough of Watford. Leavesden is the location of Leavesden Studios, built on the site of RAF Leavesden a former World War II airfield and wartime aircraft factory, and where one of the James Bond, and all of the Harry Potter, film franchises were produced.

Parmiter's School is a co-educational state comprehensive school with academy status in Garston, Hertfordshire, close to the outskirts of North West London, England with a long history. Although the school admits pupils of all abilities it is partially selective. It is currently the most oversubscribed school in Hertfordshire, and has often been recognised by the DfES for being one of the highest performing schools in the country by value added and score as a mixed ability school.

Saint Michael's Catholic High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in the town of Watford, Hertfordshire. In September 2010, headteacher John Murphy was succeeded by Edward Conway.

Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden is an 80 ha (200-acre) studio complex in Leavesden in Watford, Hertfordshire, in South East England. Formerly known as Leavesden Film Studios and still colloquially known as Leavesden Studios or simply Leavesden, it is a film and media complex owned by Warner Bros. The studios were all converted from an aircraft factory and airfield called Leavesden Aerodrome, a centre of British aircraft production during World War II. The nearest railway station is King's Langley which is a walking distance of 1.3 miles (2.1 km).Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden is one of only a few places in the UK where large-scale film productions can be made. The studios contain approximately 50,000 m2 (540,000 sq ft) of flexible space which includes stage space, one of the largest filtered and heated stage-based water tanks in Europe, production office space, workshops and support buildings, along with an extensive 32 ha (79 acres) backlot which offers a 180-degree uninterrupted horizon, favourable for exterior sets. Following an over £110 million refurbishment by Warner Bros., the studios are now one of the largest and most state-of-the-art secure filmmaking facilities in the world.Though the studios are owned by Warner Bros., all of the studio facilities are available to rent for any production. Since acquiring the site, Warner Bros. has opened a public attraction named Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, which receives over 6,000 visitors a day at peak times. The site maintains a secure studio space within the same complex.

Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is a walkthrough exhibition and studio tour in Leavesden, East of England, owned by Warner Bros. and operated by their Studio Tours division. It is located within Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, in Watford, in southwest Hertfordshire, and houses a permanent exhibit of authentic costumes, props and sets utilised in the production of the Harry Potter films, as well as behind-the-scenes production of visual effects. The tour is contained in Soundstages J and K, which were specially built for the attraction, and is separate from the studio's actual production facilities. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London opened to the public in 2012 and has since welcomed up to 6,000 visitors a day during peak times. TripAdvisor reported that Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter has been the highest-rated attraction worldwide every year since the tour opened.

Albans Wood is a 4.1 hectares (10 acres) local nature reserve in Watford in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by Watford Borough Council.The site is ancient semi-natural woodland. It is mainly oak with other trees including beech, horse chestnut and sweet chestnut. There are mammals such as muntjac deer and noctule bats, butterflies including purple hairstreak and speckled wood, and birds such as great spotted woodpeckers and nuthatches.There is access from Sheepcot Lane.
