Rose is a hamlet in the Town of Rose, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located five miles (8 km) north of the Village of Clyde and three miles (8 km) south-southeast of the hamlet of North Rose, at an elevation of 420 feet (128 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are N.Y. Route 414, Wayne Center-Rose Road (CR 251) and Wolcott Road (CR 255). A United States Post Office is located in Rose with a ZIP Code of 14542.The Bernard Farnsworth Museum is located at the Rose Community Center in the hamlet. It exhibits a number of items throughout the town's history. The building was formerly Rose Elementary School.

Smith-Ely Mansion is a historic home located at Clyde in Wayne County, New York. It is a large, 2½-story brick masonry residence featuring elements of the Classical Revival style. The original house was built about 1850 and extensively altered in 1875–1877. That renovation added an extensive verandah and 3-story tower. The front is dominated by a colossal, four-columned portico added during a renovation dated to 1908–1911.The Erie Mansion has been known through the years as the Smith-Ely Mansion. Today it has been transformed into a bed and breakfast and renamed The Erie Mansion.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The interior features a mural by artist Thomas Donnelly executed in 1941 and titled Apple Pickers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

It is located four miles (6 km) west of the Village of Clyde and three miles (5 km) northeast of the hamlet of Lyons, at an elevation of 404 feet (123 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Old Route 31, Stokes Road, Lock Berlin Road (CR 245) and Maple Street. N.Y. Route 31 passes just south of Lock Berlin. Remnants of the former Enlarged Erie Canal Lock 54 (also called the Berlin Lock) are located at Lock Berlin Park on the corner of Gansz Road and Peters Road, just off N.Y. Route 31. It was a double-chamber lock built in 1841, and had a lift of 7.70 feet (2.35 m) to the west.

Grace Episcopal Church Complex is a historic Episcopal church complex located at Lyons in Wayne County, New York. The complex consists of a contributing stone church building begun in 1838, a contributing frame rectory begun about 1833, and a contributing parish house built in 1887–1888. The church building is Gothic Revival in style and constructed of rubble limestone walls with cut limestone trim. The rectory is an irregularly massed two story, wood-frame building incorporating a former private residence built at this site about 1833 in the vernacular late Federal / early Greek Revival style. The parish house is a single story, frame building designed in the Queen Anne style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
