Cayuga Medical Center, officially referred to as Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca and abbreviated as CMC, is a not-for-profit general hospital in Ithaca, New York, serving the residents of Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Schuyler, Seneca, Tioga, and Tompkins counties. The hospital has 204 beds in total, and is one of the largest hospitals in the Finger Lakes region and the Southern Tier.In 2014, the hospital announced its partnership with Schuyler Hospital, another not-for-profit general hospital in nearby Montour Falls, New York and the creation of an umbrella organization for the two hospitals, the Cayuga Health System.

The Museum of the Earth is a natural history museum located in Ithaca, New York. The museum was opened in 2003 as part of the Paleontological Research Institution (PRI), an independent organization pursuing research and education in the history of the Earth and its life. Both PRI and the Museum of the Earth are formally affiliated with Cornell University. The Museum of the Earth is home to Earth science exhibits and science-related art displays with a focus on the concurrent evolution of the Earth and life.

Hayt's Chapel and Schoolhouse consists of a historic church and a historic school building located at Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York. The chapel is a small rectangular frame gable roofed structure constructed in 1847 and measuring approximately 20 feet by 40 feet. The structure features a number of Gothic Revival details. There is a small entrance vestibule added sometime in the 1930s or 1940s when the building was converted for school use. In 1996, the Town of Ithaca honored the location with a historic marker. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Allan H. Treman State Marine Park is a 91-acre (0.37 km2) state park and marina located in the City of Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York, United States. The park is located at the south end of Cayuga Lake, one of the 11 Finger Lakes of New York. The park's namesake, Allan Hosie Treman (1899-1975) was a Cornell University law professor, Ithaca city counsel, and member of the Finger Lakes Park Commission. He is the son of Robert H. Treman, who also has a state park named in his honor.

Ithaca Dog Park is an official dog park in Ithaca, New York. The park is part of the New York State park system. The park is located on the Festival Lands, adjacent to the Allan H. Treman State Marine Park at the head of Cayuga Lake. Part of the park is on state parkland, and some are on city land. The beach, which is on state land, is used by dogs for swimming. The parkland was created when dredging spoils were dumped there in the 1960s and is now used by birdwatchers, joggers, skiers, picnickers, and strollers. It also has a relatively undeveloped shoreline. This large park is fenced around two separate areas and has a city water supply, child-sized swimming pools for the dogs, beautiful shade trees, and benches and picnic tables for people and dogs. The park was initially developed by the Tomkins County Dog Owners Group, the city of Ithaca, and the New York State Parks Commission.

The Hangar Theatre is a non-profit, regional theatre located at 801 Taughannock Boulevard in Ithaca, NY. Its mainstage season and children's shows occur during the summer, but the Hangar, and other organizations, utilize the space year-round for special events. The tenets of the Hangar's mission statement are to enrich, enlighten, educate and entertain.

Second Tompkins County Courthouse, also known as Old Courthouse, is a historic courthouse located at 121 E. Court Street in Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York. It is a two-story, 57 feet by 75 feet rectangular building with a three-story tower. The building is built of red brick, covered with stucco, over a stone foundation. The tower contains a belfry with a pointed arch opening on each of the four sides. It was built in 1854 and has a notable open timber roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
