Elizabeth Kunkel House is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907 and is a two-story, L-shaped, Late Victorian Gothic-style wood frame dwelling. It measures 40 feet wide and 50 feet deep, with a gable roof, and sits on a stone foundation. It features two steeply pitched Gothic dormers. Also on the property are an early-20th century frame smokehouse and storage building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The East Martinsburg Historic District is associated with the growth of Martinsburg, West Virginia during the 1850s, when the development of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad brought German and Irish settlers to the area. The district includes areas known as Buena Vista, Chevally City, St. Vincent, Hooge's Addition, Small's Addition, Carver's Addition, Mohler's Addition, Strinesville and East Strinesville. The oldest sections of the district have concentrations of pre-Civil War buildings in the Greek Revival style, while later sections include Gothic Revival, Queen Anne and Classical Revival buildings.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Tuscarora Creek in Berkeley County, West Virginia, is an 11.4-mile-long (18.3 km) tributary of Opequon Creek, which drains into the Potomac River in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.Located in the tip of the Mountain State's Eastern Panhandle, Tuscarora Creek flows through the city of Martinsburg before draining into Opequon Creek near the Van Metre Ford Bridge. The stream's headwaters are on the eastern flanks of North Mountain, upstream from Poor House Farm Park. The creek was named after the Tuscarora Indians.

Van Metre Ford Stone Bridge is a historic stone arch bridge located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. Built by Pennsylvania builder Silas Harry, it was built in 1832, and is a three span bridge crossing Opequon Creek. It is 132 feet long and constructed of ashlar limestone. The center span measures 32 feet and the two side spans are each 29.5 feet long.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. A historic marker at the bridge says: Named for the property owners this stone bridge built in 1832 across Opequon Creek was major improvement for travellers on Warm Springs Road connecting Alexandria and Bath Va., site of famous mineral waters. The Berkeley County Court established a commission to study and contract for construction of bridge. Silas Harry erected at local expense 165 foot bridge at reported cost of $3,700. The bridge was replaced by a modern, two-lane bridge in 2016. The historic stone bridge remains as a pedestrian bridge.

Berkeley is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. The community began as Berkeley Station on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad line, but its name has since been shortened to Berkeley as it has become more of a bedroom community. The community most likely takes its name from Berkeley County.

Green Hill Cemetery Historic District is a national historic district located at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The 15-acre (6.1 ha) site encompasses two contributing buildings, one contributing site, and 22 contributing objects. The rural cemetery was designed in 1854 by David Hunter Strother modeled on a French cemetery. It includes a Neoclassical Revival style mausoleum (1917–1918) and a Shingle Style caretaker's lodge (1901). The cemetery includes a number of notable monuments, as well as the graves of Strother and his family.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.Burials within the cemetery include that of actor Robert Barrat (1889–1970), George Meade Bowers (1863–1925), a Representative from 1916 to 1923 and David Hunter Strother (1816–1888), a noted artist, journalist and brevet brigadier general in the Union Army.

Smoketown School was a historic one-room school located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1869, and is a one-story, brick building in a vernacular Greek Revival style. It was used as a school until 1940, and the property was later sold to the Greensburg United Methodist Church.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.The building was condemned in June 2012 and razed the next month.

Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Martinsburg Shops is a historic industrial district in Martinsburg, West Virginia. It is significant both for its railroading architecture by Albert Fink and John Rudolph Niernsee and for its role in the Great Railroad Strike of 1877. It consists of three contributing buildings, one of which is the oldest covered roundhouse in the United States. The presence of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company in Martinsburg dates back to the late 1840s, when the first engine and machine shops were erected for the expanding company. The shops were designated a National Historic Landmark and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. They are now managed by a local authority as an event venue.

Martinsburg station is a railway station in Martinsburg, West Virginia, United States, served by MARC Brunswick Line commuter rail service and Amtrak Capitol Limited intercity rail service. The station has one side platform serving a siding track of the CSX Cumberland Subdivision, with a footbridge crossing the siding and the two main tracks to provide access to the preserved Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Martinsburg Shops complex.

The district includes the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Martinsburg Shops, a National Historic Landmark, and a variety of industrial and commercial concerns that depended on the railroad. Along with buildings, the district includes the infrastructure associated with the building of the railroad in an urbanizing environment, such as the channelizing of Tuscarora Creek and a variety of culverts, underpasses and retaining walls. Significant buildings include, apart from the roundhouse/shop complex, the B. & O. Railroad station and hotel. Industrial buildings include coal yards, a plaster mill, feed mills, a distillery and other manufacturing facilities.

Myers House is a historic home located at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built about 1817 and is a two-story, Federal-style, brick dwelling. It is five bays wide with a gable roof. The entrance features a Chippendale style transom.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
