Henwood Down is one of the highest points in the county of Hampshire, England, and in the South Downs, reaching a height of 201 metres (659 ft) above sea level. Its prominence of 64 metres qualifies it as a Tump.Henwood Down rises about 1 mile west of the village of East Meon in Hampshire and around 2 kilometres northeast of Old Winchester Hill. The northern slopes are covered by mixed forest (Hen Wood), whilst the southern flanks are open. The South Downs Way runs over the southern spur of the hill. The hill is part of the Winchester-East Meon Anticline.

East Meon is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 4.4 miles (7.1 km) west of Petersfield. The village is located in the Meon Valley approximately 31 km (19 mi) north of Portsmouth and 98 km (61 mi) southwest of London, on the headwaters of the River Meon. The parish has an area of 11,370 acres (46.0 km2). The boundaries of the present parish of East Meon date back to 1894. About a mile to the west rises the prominent hill of Henwood Down (201 m). The South Downs Way passes over the southern spur of the hill. Petersfield railway station is the nearest station, 4 miles (6.4 km) east of the village.

Westbury House is a country house south of West Meon Road between East Meon and West Meon in Hampshire, England. The house was built in the Palladian style but rebuilt in brick after a fire in 1904. It subsequently became a boys' preparatory school, whose headmaster until the late 1970s was Errol Adrian 'Sherard' Manners, brother of John Manners. It later became a care home until it closed in the 2016 after being rated inadequate by inspectors.It was once occupied by the Sartoris family and Mary Sartoris was painted by Frederick Leighton.The house is not a listed building, although the ice houses are listed. and stables nearby are, presumably having escaped destruction in the fire.

All Saints' Church is an Anglican parish church in the village of East Meon, Hampshire, England. It is a Grade I listed building and the oldest building in the village, lying so tight to a hill to the north of the village – part of the South Downs – that there was no room for a north aisle to be built. Most of the church dates from the Norman period, with the south chapel and south aisle being added in the 13th century.According to Nikolaus Pevsner it is "one of the most thrilling village churches in Hampshire", to John Betjeman it is "a striking, boldly massed church set above the village against a green down", while Simon Jenkins states that of the Saxon foundations in the Meon valley, "few are as satisfying as East Meon".

Chappetts Copse is a 12-hectare (30-acre) nature reserve east of West Meon in Hampshire. It is owned and managed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.This ancient ash and beech wood has many rare fungi and plants. Orchids include broad-leaved helleborine and bird's-nest, and there are butterflies such as the speckled wood and silver-washed fritillary.

Wether Down is one of the highest hills in the county of Hampshire, England, and in the South Downs, rising to 234 metres (768 ft) above sea level. Wether Hill is largely treeless and there is a trig point and transmission mast at the summit. Cross dykes and a long barrow in the vicinity provide evidence of prehistoric settlement in the area.

HMS Mercury was a shore establishment of the Royal Navy, and the site of the Royal Navy Signals School and Combined Signals School. There was also a subsidiary branch, HMS Mercury II.

West Meon railway station was an intermediate station on the Meon Valley line which ran from Alton to Fareham during the first half of the 20th century. Opened on 1 June 1903, it formed part of a comprehensive set of transport links serving the village. The main station building was designed by T. P. Figgis.

Pidham Hill is about 2 kilometres east-northeast of the village of East Meon in Hampshire, north of the road to Langrish. It is part of the East Hampshire Hangers of the Hampshire Downs and is located near to where the Hangers merge with the South Downs.

West Meon is a village and civil parish in Hampshire, England, with a population of 749 people at the 2011 census.
