KID (AM)

Iona is a city in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,803 at the 2010 census.

KIDJ (106.3 FM) is a commercial radio station located in Sugar City, Idaho, broadcasting to the Idaho Falls area. KIDJ airs a news/talk format, formerly originated from KID (590 AM).

KGTM is a hot adult contemporary formatted radio station located in Shelley, Idaho, broadcasting to the Eastern Idaho area on 98.1 FM.

KUPI-FM is a commercial radio station located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, broadcasting on 99.1 FM. KUPI-FM airs a simulcasting country music and format branded as "99 KUPI".

Beachs Corner is an unincorporated community in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. Beachs Corner is located at the junction of U.S. Route 26 and Idaho State Highway 43 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Idaho Falls. It is named after Aaron Williams Beach 1847-1912 who owned a farm there. His home was located on the opposite corner lot South across the Yellowstone Highway. The farmland was Northwest on the other side of the highway.

Ucon is a city in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,108 at the 2010 census. Ucon was first settled in 1883.

Bonneville High School is a four-year public secondary school near Idaho Falls, Idaho. Northeast of the city, it opened in 1951 and is the original high school of the Bonneville Joint School District #93, which consolidated ten smaller districts east of Idaho Falls. The original building for high school was turned into a junior high in 1977 when the current Bonneville High School was built. A second traditional high school in the district opened in 1992, Hillcrest in Ammon. In 2018 a third high school was opened, Thunder Ridge. The school colors are green and gold and the mascot is a bee. Current enrollment is approximately 1,400. In 1950 the vote was put forward to bring together 10 little schools, some of them were Iona, Lincoln, Ammon, and Ucon. It passed however there was not a school for them to attend. The school that had the largest building at the time was Ammon so the high school students would attend there until a building could be built. The first class attended 1951 - 1952. As with some of the other new schools, the first graduating class could nominate the colors and mascot. The colors of a favorite football team was nominated, Green Bay Packers. In 1957 the "new" high school was built. It is the current Rocky Mountain Middle School. The students outgrew the high school and did split sessions in the 1970s while a new high school was being built next door. The first class to graduate from the current building was 1978.

Lincoln is a census-designated place in Bonneville County, Idaho located just east of Idaho Falls, southwest of Iona and north of Ammon. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,647. Lincoln has an area of 1.465 square miles (3.79 km2), all of it land. Lincoln as a separate place came into being when a school house was built there in 1899 by residents who felt it was too far to send their children to school in Iona. It was originally named Centerville. In 1903 the Utah Sugar Company bought a piece of land here and built a factory. The builder of the factory was Heber C. Austin who also built many houses for factory workers and planted many trees. In 1904 a Latter-day Saint branch was organized in Lincoln as part of the Iona Ward. In 1905 the branch was made a separate ward with Austin as the bishop. In 1930 the population of Lincoln was 500, 83% of whom were Latter-day Saints. In 2000 the population of Lincoln was around 500 as well, however by 2010 urban expansion in the Idaho Falls metropolitan area increased the population.

Willow Creek is a 84-mile (135 km) long tributary of the Snake River in the U.S. state of Idaho. Beginning at an elevation of 6,568 feet (2,002 m) east of the Blackfoot Mountains in southeastern Bingham County, it flows generally north into Bonneville County and past Bone. South of the town of Ririe, the creek is impounded by Ririe Dam, forming Ririe Reservoir. It then turns southwest, passing between Iona and Ucon, before bifurcating into two distributaries, North Fork Willow Creek and South Fork Willow Creek, at an elevation of 4,777 feet (1,456 m). Both forks reach the Snake River north of Idaho Falls.Willow Creek has significant populations of brown trout.

KNBL (1260 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a variety hits format. Licensed to Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Idaho Falls–Pocatello area. The station is owned by Frank VanderSloot's Riverbend Communications, LLC.

Garfield is an unincorporated community in Bonneville and Jefferson counties, in the U.S. state of Idaho.

Ammon is a suburb city in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. As of the 2010 US Census, the population of Ammon was 13,816. By the 2020 census, Ammon's population had grown to 17,694. It lies directly to the east of Idaho Falls and to the west of the Ammon foothills, and is the second most populous city in the Idaho Falls metropolitan area. As of 2020, Ammon is the 15th most populous city in Idaho. It was one of the state's fastest growing cities from 2000 to 2010, experiencing a 123.3% growth rate based on the 2010 US Census.
