Ammon, Idaho

Hillcrest High School is a four-year public high school in Ammon, Idaho, east of Idaho Falls. Opened in 1992, it was the second high school in the Bonneville School District. The school mascot is the Knight and the colors are red, black, and white. Hillcrest competed in IHSAA Class 5A for athletics until 2018, and now completes in 4A. The principal is Scott Miller.

The Grand Teton Mall is a shopping mall located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, that opened in 1984. The anchor tenants are Alturas Preparatory Academy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, and JCPenney.

College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) is a public community college in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It was founded in 1969 as Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School and later became a technical college called Eastern Idaho Technical College. In May 2017, Bonneville County residents voted to create a community college district, allowing Eastern Idaho Technical College to become a community college. In July 2017, the Idaho State Board of Education appointed five community college trustees and completed the transition to community college.The college's divisions include Business, Office, and Technology; Health Professions; Trades and Industry; and General Education. College of Eastern Idaho awards an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Science degree which are designed to serve students seeking to continue their education at a four-year university. College of Eastern Idaho also offers Advanced Technical Certificates, courses in adult basic education, GED testing, and workforce training. The district of the College of Eastern Idaho includes only Bonneville County. On November 7, 2017, voters in Bingham County had the opportunity to join the community college district. However, the proposal was defeated.Enrollment as of summer 2018 stood at 1,300 students.

Lincoln is a census-designated place in Bonneville County, Idaho located just east of Idaho Falls, southwest of Iona and north of Ammon. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,647. Lincoln has an area of 1.465 square miles (3.79 km2), all of it land. Lincoln as a separate place came into being when a school house was built there in 1899 by residents who felt it was too far to send their children to school in Iona. It was originally named Centerville. In 1903 the Utah Sugar Company bought a piece of land here and built a factory. The builder of the factory was Heber C. Austin who also built many houses for factory workers and planted many trees. In 1904 a Latter-day Saint branch was organized in Lincoln as part of the Iona Ward. In 1905 the branch was made a separate ward with Austin as the bishop. In 1930 the population of Lincoln was 500, 83% of whom were Latter-day Saints. In 2000 the population of Lincoln was around 500 as well, however by 2010 urban expansion in the Idaho Falls metropolitan area increased the population.

Bonneville High School is a four-year public secondary school near Idaho Falls, Idaho. Northeast of the city, it opened in 1951 and is the original high school of the Bonneville Joint School District #93, which consolidated ten smaller districts east of Idaho Falls. The original building for high school was turned into a junior high in 1977 when the current Bonneville High School was built. A second traditional high school in the district opened in 1992, Hillcrest in Ammon. In 2018 a third high school was opened, Thunder Ridge. The school colors are green and gold and the mascot is a bee. Current enrollment is approximately 1,400. In 1950 the vote was put forward to bring together 10 little schools, some of them were Iona, Lincoln, Ammon, and Ucon. It passed however there was not a school for them to attend. The school that had the largest building at the time was Ammon so the high school students would attend there until a building could be built. The first class attended 1951 - 1952. As with some of the other new schools, the first graduating class could nominate the colors and mascot. The colors of a favorite football team was nominated, Green Bay Packers. In 1957 the "new" high school was built. It is the current Rocky Mountain Middle School. The students outgrew the high school and did split sessions in the 1970s while a new high school was being built next door. The first class to graduate from the current building was 1978.

KNBL (1260 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a variety hits format. Licensed to Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Idaho Falls–Pocatello area. The station is owned by Frank VanderSloot's Riverbend Communications, LLC.

Idaho Falls High School (IFHS) is a four-year public secondary school in central Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA. The current building opened in 1952, though the school itself has been in operation since 1897. Idaho Falls is the older of the two traditional high schools, the other is Skyline, in the Idaho Falls School District#91. The school colors are orange and black and its teams are the Tigers; the mascot is known as Tigger.

The Holy Rosary Church on E. Ninth St. in Idaho Falls, Idaho was built in 1948. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.The building is an "imposing" gable-fronted building with concrete foundation and trim, red brick walls, and a wood shingle roof. Its style includes elements of the English Gothic style of architecture.

Iona is a city in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,803 at the 2010 census.

Beachs Corner is an unincorporated community in Bonneville County, Idaho, United States. Beachs Corner is located at the junction of U.S. Route 26 and Idaho State Highway 43 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of Idaho Falls. It is named after Aaron Williams Beach 1847-1912 who owned a farm there. His home was located on the opposite corner lot South across the Yellowstone Highway. The farmland was Northwest on the other side of the highway.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church at 325 Elm Street in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It was built during 1918 to 1920 and was added to the National Register in 1978.It was deemed architecturally significant as "a good example of the Neo-classical revival style"; its "dome and Ionic portico are impressive by Idaho's standards."It is the only building in Idaho designed by Uniontown, Pennsylvania ecclesiastic architect J. C. Fulton.

Idaho Falls is the 4th most populous city in Idaho and the county seat of Bonneville County. It is the state's most populous city outside the Boise metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the population of Idaho Falls was 64,818. In the 2010 census, the population of Idaho Falls was 56,813 (2019 estimate: 62,888), with a metro population of 133,265.Idaho Falls serves as the commercial, cultural, and healthcare hub for Eastern Idaho, as well as parts of western Wyoming and southern Montana. It is served by the Idaho Falls Regional Airport and is home to the College of Eastern Idaho, Museum of Idaho, Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, and the Idaho Falls Chukars minor league baseball team. It is the principal city of the Idaho Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Idaho Falls–Blackfoot-Rexburg, Idaho Combined Statistical Area.
