Norrmalm is a city district in Stockholm, Sweden.

Stockholm City Theatre (Swedish: Stockholms stadsteater) is live performance theater located in Stockholm, Sweden. The theatre is situated near the Sergel fountain and the Stockholm City roundabout.

Sveriges riksbank, or simply the Riksbank, is the central bank of Sweden. It is the world's oldest central bank and the fourth oldest bank in operation.

MKFC Stockholm College (Swedish: MKFC Stockholms folkhögskola) is a folk high school in Stockholm. It began its operations as Rinkeby Folk High School. MKFC stands for multi-cultural adult education center and it is also the focus of the school. MKFC is the only folk high school in Sweden with online education. Work on distance learning on the Internet has been underway since 1997. The folk high school has moved its offices and is now found in Hötorget skyscrapers. Multicultural Adult Education Centre, MKFC was founded in 1991 in Rinkeby which is a densely populated suburb of Stockholm. MKFC started the Rinkeby Folk high school whose values were based on MKFC's view of knowledge creation in collaboration with the local civil society and the public sector, and public education for everyone. The goal of adult education was that participants should become active democratic citizens who could support themselves. An important tool from the start was the computer that other, better established citizens at that time already had in their workplaces or at home. Computerization and the Internet allowed the college to become popular even outside Rinkeby. In the late 1990s when the number of participants was more than 1,000 students the buildings used were over 7000 square meters with 400 computers. Internet and the learning platforms that MKFC used as the first folk high school radically improved the accessibility to all studies regardless of where the students lived and what times of day they preferred to study.

106.7 FM Rockklassiker is a Swedish rock radio station. Rockklassiker (formerly Classic Hits) started out as a local radio station in Stockholm in 1994, and is today the second largest rock station in Sweden in terms of audience share. Its closest rival is Bandit Rock 106.3, another radio station based in Stockholm that mainly focuses on modern and alternative rock. Rockklassiker was elected "Radio station of the year 2001" by The Swedish Radio Academy. 106.7 FM Rockklassiker competes with nine other commercial stations in addition to six Government non-commercial stations. Its target group is 25- to 44-year-old males. Rockklassiker is today the largest radio station in this target. In Average Quarters (AQ) Rockklassiker is the 2nd largest commercial radio station in the market. Rockklassiker has been a consistent high performer in the ratings over the last couple of years.

Avicii Experience is a museum located in Stockholm, Sweden. It is built in the memory of Swedish music producer, Avicii, to exhibit his work.As an interactive museum, Avicii Experience has a virtual studio, where visitors can record a version of Avicii's songs.

Sergels torg ("Sergel's Square") is a major public square in Stockholm, Sweden, constructed in the 1960s and named after 18th-century sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel, whose workshop was once located north of the square.

Stockholms lyceum was a private secondary school (högre allmänt läroverk) in Stockholm, Sweden, functioning from 1839 until 1875. The Lyceum was opened in 1839 by Claes Olof Ramström. He transferred the school in 1851 to Dr Carl Johan Bohman and Dr Otto von Feilitzen, who ran the school until 1875, when it was merged with the Stockholms ateneum. During the period of joint rectorship of the latter two, the school had 1,426 pupils, of whom 265 continued to university and another 191 to the Karlberg War Academy. Alumni of the school include the writer August Strindberg (1849–1912), the poet Carl Snoilsky (1841–1903), the physician and writer Axel Munthe (1857–1949), the industrialist Oscar Lamm (1848–1930), and the palaeozoologist Gerhard Holm (1853–1926). In his autobiographical novel, The Son of a Servant (chapter 5), Strindberg contrasts the private Lyceum to the "terror regime" of the contemporary Swedish public schools. In the Lyceum corporal punishment was abolished and the pupils were treated as "thinking beings", were allowed to discuss issues with, and even contradict, the teachers. He notes that many of the boys came from the aristocracy (another occasion for the author to point out the perceived inferiority experienced by his alter ego Johan), but that the spirit of the school and the attitude of its principal was liberal and democratic.

House of Culture (Swedish: Kulturhuset) is a cultural center situated to the south of Sergels torg in central Stockholm, Sweden. The House of Culture has been described as a symbol for Stockholm as well as of the growth of modernism in Sweden.

Malmskillnadsbron (The Malmskillnad Bridge) is an arch bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. It takes the street Malmskillnadsgatan over Kungsgatan flanked on its east side by two Art Deco towers called Kungstornen. For an explanation of Malmskillnad, see Malmskillnadsgatan. Built in connection with the excavation of Brunkebergsåsen for Kungsgatan, Malmskillnadsbron was inaugurated in 1911, one year after the completion of the parallel bridge taking Regeringsgatan over Kungsgatan, circumstantially called Regeringsgatans viadukt över Kungsgatan, "The Bridge of Regeringsgatan over Kungsgatan", and, more popularly, Regeringsgatans bro, Bridge of Regeringsgatan.The bridge is a reinforced concrete three-hinged arch bridge dressed in granite slabs. The vault is entirely filled and supported on both sides by concrete walls perpendicular to Kungsgatan. The span is 24 metres, the width of 9.05 metres between the railings, and the bridge has a 5.55 metres wide roadway originally dressed in cobblestones.

Malmskillnadsgatan (Swedish: "The Ridge Dividing Street") is a 650-metre long street in central Stockholm, Sweden. It stretches northward from the Brunkebergstorg square over Hamngatan; crosses Mäster Samuelsgatan and Oxtorgsgatan; passes over the bridge Malmskillnad Bridge passing over Kungsgatan; crosses Brunnsgatan and David Bagares gata; and finally ends at Johannes plan near Döbelnsgatan. In today's Sweden, at the end of the last ice age, the retiring ice sheet left behind several ridges filled with sand and rounded gravel, ridges called malmar (sing. malm) in Swedish. In the central-northern part of Stockholm, the Brunkebergsåsen, divided the Norrmalm district in an eastern and western part, Östermalm and Västermalm, and Malmskillnadsgatan is a street passing along the top of the ridge. First appearing in documents from the 17th century, the name Malmskillnaden arguably designated some sort of road passing over the Ridge of Brunkeberg, an eventuality obscured by the appearance of the name Skillnadsgatan ("The difference/Divergence street"). The street itself first appears in a map dated 1640, detailing the planned development of Norrmalm, but due to the excavation required, Malmskillnadsgatan was to remain an impracticable for some time. In the late 17th century however, a street called Malm skillnadz gatun is stretching north from Brunkebergstorg to Oxtorget, where a sand hill separated it from what is today its northern section. During the 1710s, finally, the street was entirely united as can be seen in a map dated 1733.In association with the post-war redevelopment of central Stockholm, the residential area along the southern part of the street was transformed into a business area, isolated from the surrounding shopping district. During the 1970s and 1980s, Malmskillnadsgatan (with Artillerigatan in the Östermalm district) was a traditional site for street prostitution in Stockholm), as the isolated location of the street made it completely abandoned after business hours.

Regeringsgatans bro (The bridge of Regeringsgatan) or more correctly Regeringsgatans viadukt över Kungsgatan (Bridge of Regeringsgatan over Kungsgatan) is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden, taking the street Regeringsgatan over Kungsgatan. It was inaugurated in 1910.
