Unionville, Orange County, New York

Westtown is a hamlet in Orange County, in the U.S. state of New York. It is located along New York State Route 284 north of Unionville and Minisink, and north of the New Jersey state border.

Minisink is a town located in southwestern Orange County, New York, United States, northeast of the New Jersey border between the Town of Greenville and the Town of Warwick. The population was 4,621 at the 2020 census. The town is located near Interstate 84 and New York State Route 17 and lies approximately halfway between New York City and Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Quarryville is an unincorporated community located within Wantage Township in Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The settlement is located on Quarryville Brook, a tributary of the Wallkill River.By 1882, "Quarry Station" was located in the settlement, part of the New Jersey Midland Railway, which later became the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway. A post office was located there, and the population was 64. The settlement was described as having "a large local trade, a good shipping trade, and quarries of superior building stone".

The Hulet Clark Farmstead is located along South Plank Road north of the hamlet of Westtown, in the Town of Minisink, New York, United States. It is a 75-acre (30 ha) property along both sides of the road, consisting of a farmhouse, barn, chicken coop and other outbuildings. While he did not build the house, Clark, a longtime Minisink resident who served the town in several different capacities in the first half of the 19th century, would be most associated with it.

The Evans–Waters Cottage, also known as Ferrone's Sunset Cottage, is a log cabin located at 11 Grandview Road by Lake Wallkill in Vernon Township in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. Built in 1934, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 2016, for its significance in architecture, featuring Late 19th and Early 20th Century American Movements architecture.

Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge is part of the National Wildlife Refuge system. Established in 1990 by Public Law 101-593, the refuge straddles nine miles (14 km) of the Wallkill River at and just south of the New York-New Jersey border. Most of the refuge is in Sussex County, New Jersey, with the remainder in Orange County, New York. Two miles (3.2 km) of the Appalachian Trail travel through the refuge, and the refuge has four additional walking trails. The refuge has more than 5,100 acres (21 km2) of land and is managed primarily for conservation of wetlands, including habitat for migratory birds and the endangered bog turtle. Where compatible, the refuge offers outdoor recreation opportunities including hunting, fishing, interpretation, environmental education, photography, wildlife viewing, hiking, canoeing and cross-country skiing. At the northern end of the refuge, in the black dirt wetlands, the refuge manages a series of waterfowl impoundments for migratory waterfowl and shorebirds. Wood ducks, canvasbacks, mergansers, mallards and many other species frequent the refuge during spring and fall migrations. Raptors commonly use the refuge as well, with red-shouldered hawks, northern harriers and kestrels frequently observed. The Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge, 35 miles (56 km) to the north, is managed as a subunit.

The Erickson Lakeside Cabin is a log cabin located at 103 Lakeside Drive by Lake Wallkill in Vernon Township in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. Built in 1934, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 2017, for its significance in architecture, featuring Late 19th and Early 20th Century American Movements architecture.

Ventimiglia Vineyard is a winery in Wantage Township in Sussex County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 2002, and opened to the public in 2008. Ventimiglia has 5 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 1,000 cases of wine per year. The winery is named after the family that owns it.

Greenville is a town in Orange County, New York, United States, located along the southern county and state line. The population was 4,689 at the 2020 census. Unique among Orange County towns, Greenville has neither cities nor villages, and most of the communities are small clusters of houses. (Residents of the town get their mail through the Port Jervis or Middletown post office.) Greenville is near Exit 4 off Interstate 84, which features the town's firehouse and a few other businesses.

The Elias Van Bunschooten House is located in Wantage Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1790 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 1974.

The Sussex-Wantage Regional School District is a comprehensive regional public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from Sussex Borough and Wantage Township, two municipalities in northern Sussex County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2019–20 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 1,049 students and 99.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.6:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students from both Sussex and Wantage attend High Point Regional High School, together with students from Branchville, Frankford Township, Lafayette Township and Montague Township. As of the 2019–20 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 866 students and 76.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.3:1.

First Presbyterian Church of Wantage (Old Clove Church) is a historic church in Wantage Township, Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. Church records point to a Dutch Reformed congregation founded in 1788, which merged with First Presbyterian Church of Wantage, founded in 1818. The building is situated on a hill, due south of Clove Brook, a creek from which it derives its common name. It was built in 1829 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 23, 1982 for its significance in architecture and religion. The structure is no longer used as a church, but the Friends of Old Clove Church continue an inter-denominational service once annually.
