Honeoye ( HUN-ee-oy) is a hamlet in the Town of Richmond, in Ontario County, New York, United States. The population was 579 at the 2010 census, which lists the community as a census-designated place (CDP).It is located 33 miles (53 kilometers) south of downtown Rochester. The community is at the north end of Honeoye Lake, one of the minor Finger Lakes. It is primarily situated along U.S. Route 20A between Ontario County Roads 33 and 37. The center of the hamlet can roughly be placed at the intersection of Route 20A and Ontario County Road 36 (West Lake Road). Due to its location at the northern tip of Honeoye Lake and seasonal recreational population, the hamlet contains several businesses, including gas stations and grocery, drug, liquor, hardware, auto-parts, and convenience stores. It also contains several restaurants, a doctor's office, dentist's office, and Honeoye Central School, which is K-12. There are also multiple churches, a fire station, public library, beach, park, state boat launch, and hiking trail.

Honeoye Lake ( HUN-ee-oy) is one of the Finger Lakes located in Ontario County, New York. Most of the lake is within the town of Richmond but a smaller southwestern part is in the town of Canadice. The hamlet of Honeoye is just north of the lake. The name Honeoye comes from the Seneca word ha-ne-a-yah, which means lying finger, or where the finger lies. The name comes from the local story of a Native American whose finger was bitten by a rattlesnake and who therefore cut off his finger with a tomahawk.

Hemlock Fairground is a national historic district and fairground located at Hemlock in Livingston County, New York. The district covers 35.6 acres (144,000 m2) with five contributing buildings and one contributing object, the racetrack. There are two clusters of buildings near the racetrack. One cluster consists of the grandstand (constructed 1870) and livestock sheds located along the perimeter of the track at the southwest corner of the site. The second cluster consists of exhibition buildings located east of the track.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Honeoye Lake Boat Launch State Park is a nine-acre (3.6 ha) state park located along the southeastern shore of Honeoye Lake, one of New York's Finger Lakes. Zebulon Moses Farm Complex is a historic home and farm complex located at Lima in Livingston County, New York. The farmhouse is believed to date to the early 19th century and was modernized and expanded in several stages throughout the later 19th century. It is a two-story, four-bay dwelling with three large rear appendages. The property also includes a carriage barn with an attached shed, three barns, and a machine shed.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
