Edmund Wilson House is a historic home located at Talcottville in Lewis County, New York. It was built over a four-year period starting in 1789 and is a 2+1⁄2-story limestone building, three bays wide and four bays long. It was named "The Stone House" by Edmund Wilson, whose family used the house as a summer home and he made it famous in his book Upstate.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Talcottville is a small community in southern Lewis County, New York, United States. It is the seat for the town of Leyden. Talcottville was the first settlement in Lewis County. William Topping and his family settled in 1793 on what is now the northwest corner of State Route 12D and Domser Road. Active businesses in the hamlet include the Talcottville Cemetery Association, Fox Den Monuments LLC, Karpinski Water Supply, and portions of three active dairy farms. The author and critic Edmund Wilson was a summer resident, and wrote Upstate: Records and Recollections of Northern New York (New York: Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1971; reprint, Syracuse: Syracuse University Press, 1990), a memoir of his time in Talcottville.

St. Mark's Church is a historic Episcopal church located at Port Leyden in Lewis County, New York. It is a frame board and batten sided, three by five bay structure built in 1865 in the Gothic Revival style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Port Leyden is a village in Lewis County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, Port Leyden had a population of 554. The name is derived from the village's early history as a port on the Black River Canal. The village of Port Leyden is mostly in the town of Leyden, but a portion of the village lies to the east of the Black River in the town of Lyonsdale. The village is 17 miles (27 km) south of Lowville, the county seat, 8 miles (13 km) north of Boonville, and 25 miles (40 km) by road west-southwest of Old Forge.

Wildwood Cemetery and Mary Lyon Fisher Memorial Chapel is a historic cemetery and chapel located at Lyons Falls in Lewis County, New York. The cemetery was established in 1906, and the chapel constructed in 1921. It remains an active burial ground containing 736 marked burials. The memorial chapel is a two-story, masonry building in the Late Gothic Revival style designed by Utica architects Gouge & Ames. It consists of a rectangular main section, measuring 19 feet by 24 feet, with a rear chancel addition measuring 9 feet by 15 feet. Also in the cemetery is a contributing plaque to Caleb Lyon Sr. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Jonathan C. Collins House and Cemetery is a historic home located at Constableville in Lewis County, New York. It was built between 1797 and 1802 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five bays wide and two bays long, center entry frame dwelling with a large rear wing. It rests on a stone foundation and has a gable roof. Located opposite is the Collins family cemetery with the earliest burial dated 1793 and the last in 1943. It contains several fine examples of funerary design executed in local stone. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
