Evangelical-Augsburg Chapel in Poznań is a historic building in Manitius Park in Poznań, Poland. It used to be a Protestant chapel at a cemetery.

Hala Arena [ˈxala aˈrɛna], generally called simply Arena, is an indoor sporting arena in the Grunwald district of the city of Poznań in western Poland. It is primarily used for volleyball, other indoor sports, and concerts. The venue opened in 1974 and seats approximately 5,500 people, depending on type of event. The arena hosted a preliminary round group of the EuroBasket 2009 competition. In 1985 Hala Arena hosted the Rock Arena two day festival headlined by Hanoi Rocks and Pretty Maids.Hala was the penultimate site, on August 19, 1990, of the Rolling Stones 1989-1990 Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour.

Poznań Observatory (Polish: Obserwatorium Astronomiczne Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu or "OA UAM", obs. code: 047) is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the physics department of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It is located in Poznań, Poland and was founded in 1919. In January 1953, asteroid 1572 Posnania (1949 SC), discovered at Poznań, was named after the city and the discovering observatory (M.P.C. 877). Asteroid 97786 Oauam, discovered by astronomers Petr Pravec and Peter Kušnirák at Ondřejov in 2000, was also named in honor of the observatory. The official naming citation was published by the IAU on 16 June 2021.

It landed three times in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Central Europe ranking, and twice on the "FT 1000," the Financial Times' list of fastest-growing companies in Europe. In 2016, Netguru reached PLN 28.2M (US$7.8M) of income, and PLN 5.1M (US$1.4M) net profit, closed 2017 with turnover of PLN 40M (US$11.5M), and in 2018, doubled it at around PLN 80M (US$21.2M).

Adam Mickiewicz High School in Poznań (VIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu) is a high school in Poznań, Poland founded by the priest and patriot Czesław Piotrowski in 1923 and named after the poet and patriot Adam Mickiewicz. Some notable alumni include Anna Jantar, Ryszard Grobelny, Maria Pasło-Wiśniewska and Marcin Libicki. The most notable teacher was until recently the poet and writer Bogusława Latawiec. Due to huge financial demands for general refit, Poznań's city authorities are considering the possibility of finding a new place for a school and building a modern edifice.

Poznań Górczyn railway station is a railway station serving the south west of the city of Poznań, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland. The station opened in 1870 and is located on the Warsaw–Kunowice railway. The train services are operated by Przewozy Regionalne and Koleje Wielkopolskie. From this station there is also a line used by freight trains which joins the Kluczbork–Poznań railway. The station opened as Poznań Święty Łazarz and underwent modernisation in 1976.

Multigenre Fan Convention Pyrkon (pol. Festiwal Fantastyki Pyrkon) (commonly known as Pyrkon) is a Polish fan convention held annually in Poznań on the first weekend after the spring equinox and dedicated to an integration of Science fiction fandom and a promotion of science-fiction/fantasy literature, comics, film, television, video games, RPG, LARP, board games, collectible card games and miniature wargaming. Pyrkon is the biggest event of this type in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe.

Dąbrówka High School in Poznań (officially in Polish: VII Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Dąbrówki w Poznaniu, in abbreviated version known also as VII LO or colloquially simply as Dąbrówka) is a public school, located in the Poznań district of Jeżyce; it offers education to teenagers above 15 years of age. Founded in 1919, until 1967 it operated as an establishment for girls only. Currently its somewhat distinctive profile is marked by bilingual, Polish-German curriculum, complete with the Deutsches Sprachdiplom II exams. In terms of educational performance the school ranks among mid-range college-type schools in Poznań.

The Karol Marcinkowski High School, along with the Karol Marcinkowski Adult High School, and from 2001 to 2019 also the Karol Marcinkowski Bilingual Gymnasium, forming part of the No. 1 General Education School Complex, is the oldest public high school in Poznań, also known as Marcinek. It occupies a neo-Gothic building at 16 Bukowska Street, erected between 1901 and 1903 for the German Royal Gymnasium named after Augusta Victoria, whose establishment was aimed at the Germanization of Greater Poland. After Poland regained independence, on 1 May 1919, it was renamed the Polish State Gymnasium named after Karol Marcinkowski. During World War II, the building housed military hospitals, successively: German and Soviet. For this reason, the school regained its building only at the end of 1945, although classes resumed in other buildings before the city was liberated. In the 1960s, the school was associated with UNESCO, and expanded French language teaching began, since 1991 conducted by the bilingual section. Since the beginning of the Polish institution's existence, the scout troop Błękitna Czternastka has been operating alongside it, and since 1989, the Alumni Association of the Karol Marcinkowski Gymnasium and High School has also been functioning as an auxiliary organization. Over the years, the school has published numerous magazines and is also the organizer of a nationwide theater festival and local TED conferences.

The Stadion Poznań (English: Poznań Stadium), also called the Municipal Stadium in Poznań (Polish: Stadion Miejski w Poznaniu, pronounced [ˈstadjɔn ˈmjɛjskʲi]) and the Bulgarian Street Stadium (Polish: Stadion przy ul.Bułgarskiej) after the road it is situated on, is an association football stadium in the Grunwald district of Poznań, Poland. It has a capacity of 43,269 (all seated). The stadium was originally built between 1968 and 1980. From its inauguration in August 1980, Lech Poznań has used the ground as its main venue. It has also been used sporadically by Warta Poznań.In the years 2003–2010, the stadium underwent a complete reconstruction, including the building of four new fully covered stands. Currently it is the fifth-largest stadium in Poland (after National Stadium, Silesian Stadium, Stadion Wrocław and Stadion Gdańsk) and third largest in Ekstraklasa (after the latter two). The grand opening after final renovation took place on 20 September 2010, with Sting's Symphonicity Tour concert. From June 2013 to June 2018, the stadium was called INEA Stadion, because of a sponsorship with telecom operator Inea.

Fort VII, officially Konzentrationslager Posen (renamed later), was a Nazi German death camp set up in Poznań in German-occupied Poland during World War II, located in one of the 19th-century forts circling the city. According to different estimates, between 4,500 and 20,000 people, mostly Poles from Poznań and the surrounding region, died while imprisoned at the camp.

The Old Zoo in Poznań (Polish: Stare Zoo w Poznaniu) is one of the oldest zoological gardens in Poland, located in the city of Poznań, Greater Poland Voivodeship. It was founded in 1874 and was included on the register of objects of cultural heritage in 1978 as a unique example of a vivarium. The zoo started as a few animals kept by a restaurant owner in the early 1870s. It can thus be considered the oldest continuously operating Polish zoological garden. Together with the New Zoo in Poznań, which opened in 1974, it forms an integral part of the whole complex known as The Zoological Garden in Poznań (Ogród Zoologiczny w Poznaniu). The zoo is a member of both the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria since 1992 and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 1999.
