Yardville-Groveville, New Jersey

Yardville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,945. Before the 2010 Census, the area was part of the Yardville-Groveville CDP.

The John Abbott II House is located at 2200 Kuser Road in Hamilton Township of Mercer County, New Jersey. It was built c. 1730. The house is currently used as a museum by the Historical Society of Hamilton Township and is open to the public. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 18, 1976, for its significance in architecture, military history, and politics/government.

Hamilton Township is a township and the most populous municipality in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is the largest suburb of Trenton, the state's capital, which is located to the township's west. Portions of the township were taken to form Chambersburg on April 1, 1872, and annexed by Trenton in 1888, and by Wilbur on April 24, 1891, and annexed by Trenton in 1898. Hamilton Township derives its name from the village of Hamilton Square, which might have been named for Alexander Hamilton.In 2006, Hamilton Township was ranked by Morgan Quitno Press as the 18th-safest city in the United States, out of 369 cities nationwide. In the company's 2005 survey, the Township was ranked 15th safest of 354 cities surveyed nationwide.

Bordentown Regional High School is a comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from five communities in northern Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Bordentown Regional School District. The high school serves Bordentown City, Bordentown Township (where the school is located), and Fieldsboro Borough. The New Hanover Township School District, consisting of New Hanover Township (non-military portions) and Wrightstown Borough, sends students to the Bordentown district on a tuition basis for grades 9-12 as part of a sending/receiving relationship.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 744 students and 55.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.3:1. There were 3 students (0.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Ellisdale Fossil Site is located near Ellisdale in the valley of the Crosswicks Creek, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The site has produced the largest and most diverse fauna of Late Cretaceous terrestrial animals from eastern North America, including the type specimens of the teiid lizard Prototeius stageri and the batrachosauroidid salamander Parrisia neocesariensis. The site occurs within the basal portion of the Marshalltown Formation, and dates from the Campanian Stage of the Late Cretaceous. The site is classified as a Konzentrat-Lagerstätten resulting from a prehistoric coastal storm.
