The Burlington County Special Services School District is a special education public school district headquartered in Westampton, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, whose schools offer educational and therapeutic services for students of elementary and high school age from across the county who have emotional of physical disabilities that cannot be addressed by their sending districts. The Burlington County Special Services School District was established in 1972 by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders. At first the district served 30 disabled students, but grew within five years to accommodate 500 students from 40 sending school districts in the county. A newly constructed campus for the school was built in Westampton, starting use in January 1983. In 1990, the district opened a high school for at-risk students in Lumberton Township and a K-8 campus was opened the following year in Willingboro Township to help teach students how to overcome their disabilities.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 467 students and 114.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 4.1:1.

The Burlington County Library (BCLS) is a public library system that serves 37 out of the 40 municipalities of Burlington County, New Jersey. The central headquarters is in Westampton. The library collection contains approximately 770,000 volumes, and its annual circulation was 1.8 million in 2005. The libraries of Moorestown, Mount Laurel, and Willingboro are not affiliated with the Burlington County Library System. The Burlington County Institute of Technology Westampton Campus (more commonly known as Westampton Tech) is a four-year countywide vocational-technical public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Located in Westampton, the campus is one of two high schools in the district, along with the Medford campus. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,254 students and 84.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.9:1. There were 274 students (21.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 95 (7.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Timbuctoo is an unincorporated community in Westampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. Located along the Rancocas Creek, Timbuctoo was settled by formerly enslaved and free Black people, beginning in 1826. It includes Church St., Blue Jay Hill Road, and adjacent areas. At its peak in the mid-nineteenth century, Timbuctoo had more than 125 residents, a school, an AME Zion Church, and a cemetery. The key remaining evidence of this community is the cemetery on Church Street, which was formerly the site of Zion Wesleyan Methodist Episcopal African Church. Some current residents are descendants of early settlers.

Rancocas State Park is a 1,252 acres (5.07 km2) protected area designated as a state park located in Hainesport Township and Westampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey in the United States. Established in 1965, it is overseen and operated by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. The park is located along the North Branch of the Rancocas Creek and an extensive freshwater tidal marsh.

Burlington Center was a shopping mall located in Burlington Township, New Jersey. It was built by The Rouse Company of Columbia, Maryland. Its anchors were Macy's, JCPenney, and Sears. The mall closed on January 8, 2018, with only Sears remaining open until its closure on September 2, 2018. Demolition of the mall began in early 2021.

Peachfield is located in Westampton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1725 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 19, 1973. The house is owned by The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey and is operated as a historic house museum that is open for special events and by appointment.

The Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) is a county-wide public school district that serves the vocational and technical education needs of students at the high school and post-secondary level in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. BCIT's more than 2,000 students come from 38 sending school districts throughout the county.BCIT has campuses in Medford and Westampton townships. Admission to BCIT is based on a competitive admissions test. The district develops apprenticeship and job training programs with local businesses and educational institutions. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprising two schools, had an enrollment of 2,135 students and 155.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.7:1.

The Burlington County Prison is a historic museum property, located next to the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. Operating from 1811 to 1965, it was the oldest prison in the nation at the time of its closure. Designed by Robert Mills, its design exemplified period thinking in progressive prison design, with individual cells, good ventilation, and fireproof construction. Now operated by a local nonprofit as a museum, it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
