Chickwolnepy Stream, also called Chickwollopy, is a 14.2-mile-long (22.9 km) river in northern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Androscoggin River, which flows south and east into Maine, joining the Kennebec River near the Atlantic Ocean.

Milan ( MY-lən) is a town in Coös County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,358 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Berlin, NH–VT Micropolitan Statistical Area.

This general aviation airport covers 575 acres (233 ha) and has one runway. It once had scheduled air service via Air Vermont and at one point Northeast Airlines. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a basic general aviation facility.

Milan Hill State Park is a 102-acre (41 ha) public recreation area located on New Hampshire Route 110B in the town of Milan, New Hampshire. The state park features a 1932 fire tower and camping.The park is 1 of 10 New Hampshire state parks that are in the path of totality for the 2024 solar eclipse, with 26 seconds of totality.

Cedar Pond is an 80-acre (32 ha) lake in Coos County, northern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Milan. The lake is located just south of Route 110A and west of Route 110B. On the north side of the lake is a camping area called Cedar Pond Campground. The lake is classified as a coldwater fishery, with observed species including rainbow trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, and horned pout.

Nansen Ski Jump, also known as The Big Nansen and The Sleeping Giant, is a ski jump located along Route 16 in Milan, New Hampshire. Built in 1936, it was the largest ski jump of its time. It is now within the Nansen Ski Jump State Historic Site, a New Hampshire state park, which also features a picnic area and boat launch on the Androscoggin River. Named for Norwegian explorer and humanitarian Fridtjof Nansen, the ski jump has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Federal Correctional Institution, Berlin (FCI Berlin) is a medium-security United States federal prison for male inmates in New Hampshire. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. The facility also has an adjacent satellite prison camp housing minimum-security male inmates. FCI Berlin is located in Coos County in northern New Hampshire, 115 miles (185 km) north of Concord, New Hampshire, and 95 miles (153 km) northwest of Portland, Maine.

The Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility (NNHCF) is a state prison in Berlin, New Hampshire, United States. It is a part of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. It is 120 miles (190 km) north of the state capital at Concord. NNHCF contains only medium security male prisoners and has a maximum capacity of approximately 500 prisoners. In May 2009 this prison was modified to hold a total of over 740 inmates, due to the closing of the Lakes Region Facility in Laconia. It employs approximately 200 people, including correctional officers, medical staff, and administration officials. The Warden is Corey Riendeau.

The Berlin Micropolitan Statistical Area is the core-based statistical area centered on the urban cluster associated with the city Berlin, New Hampshire, in the United States. As defined by the Office of Management and Budget using counties as building blocks, the area consists of two counties – Coös County in New Hampshire, which contains the city of Berlin, and the adjacent Essex County in Vermont. An alternative definition using towns as building blocks is the Berlin Micropolitan NECTA. In addition to the city of Berlin, the NECTA consists of the towns of Dummer, Gorham, Milan, Randolph, Shelburne, Stark, and Success. As of the 2000 census, the micropolitan area had a population of 39,570 (though a July 1, 2009 estimate placed the population at 37,881). As of the 2000 census, the NECTA had a population of 16,102.

The Mount Jasper Lithic Source is a prehistoric archaeological site in Berlin, New Hampshire. Located on the slopes of Mount Jasper on the north side of the city, it includes one of the only known evidences of mining by pre-Contact Native Americans in the eastern United States. The mountain is a source of rhyolite, apparently prized for its qualities in the manufacture of stone tools. The site includes a mine shaft about 9 metres (30 ft) deep, as well as workshops at the base and summit of the mountain. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Jericho Mountain State Park (also referred to as Jericho Lake State Park) is located in the White Mountains in Berlin, New Hampshire, United States. The park offers trail riding for ATV, UTV, trail bike, and snowmobile enthusiasts, as well as camping, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and picnicking at Jericho Lake.
