Buckland-by-Faversham

Mockbeggar is a hamlet lying north of the A2 road to the east of Teynham in Swale in Kent, England. It is in the civil parish of Norton, Buckland and Stone.

Provender is an English country house in Norton near Faversham in the English county of Kent. It is privately owned but open for tours on certain days, and is an event venue.

Durolevum was a Roman settlement in Britain. The only surviving mention of it from antiquity appears in the Antonine Itinerary, where it forms part of the Roman equivalent of Watling Street, connecting Rutupiae (Richborough) to Londinium (London). It is now thought to have been located at Ospringe in Kent, after the discovery of Roman ruins between Judd's Hill and Beacon Hill in 1931, but this remains uncertain.

Faversham Stone Chapel also known as Our Lady of Elwarton, is a medieval chapel built on top of a Romano-British mausoleum. The chapel is located in what is thought to have been the Roman settlement of Durolevum, near the modern town of Faversham, in Kent, England. It is the only chapel in England known to incorporate the remains of an ancient shrine or mausoleum.

It is bypassed by the M2 to the south and traverses the historic A2, on the route of the Roman road of Watling Street.

St Mary's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Luddenham, Kent, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands in a farmyard some 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of Faversham.

Luddenham is a widespread hamlet or small village north-west of Faversham in Kent, England, with many long-distance views across the Swale and the Isle of Sheppey. It is on the edge of Luddenham Marshes and is also home of Luddenham School. Oare Gunpowder Works are on the edge of the village. It had, according to Edward Hasted in 1798, 396 acres of low flat arable land and 200 acres of meadow and pasture, although half of those are marsh. It is in the civil parish of Norton, Buckland and Stone. It was once called Cildresham, at the time of the Domesday survey.The Manor of Cildresham belonged to Odo, Earl of Kent, (as the Bishop of Bayeux) and was noted so in the Domesday Book. After Odo's trial for fraud, the manor then passed to the Fulbert de Dover (of Chilham) who helped the King defend Dover Castle. Then William de Luddenham became owner the Manor of Luddenham in 1212 and during the reign of Henry III, it passed to Sir Roger de Northwood.It has the Grade I listed Church of St Mary, beside the Grade II listed Luddenham Court (built in the 15th century).Also within the scattered hamlet, is the Nash estate which includes the grade II listed Nash's Farmhouse.It used to have one of the most remote public houses in the area, The Mounted Rifleman, which closed in the early 1990s.

Faversham Without is a former civil parish, located around Faversham in the Swale district, in the county of Kent, in southeast England. It was founded in 1894, and over the next 70 years was reduced in size as the borough of Faversham expanded and other areas were transferred to Graveney, Luddenham, Oare and Sheldwich. In 1961 it existed as a series of exclaves. It was abolished in 1983 when the parish of Graveney with Goodnestone was formed.

Painters Forstal (Painter's Forstal on Ordnance Survey maps) is a village in the Swale district of the English county of Kent. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of the town of Faversham and is part of the civil parish of Ospringe. It lies just south of the M2 motorway, and has developed almost completely since the 1950s. The manor of Painters was an estate in the parish of Ospringe. According to Edward Hasted in 1798, it was held in 1547 by the son of Sir Anthony Aucher (MP for Canterbury). The manor passed through various owners, similar to the manor of Ospringe.Within the village are four listed buildings, all Grade II on the National Heritage List for England; Little Oaks, Bayfield House, Old House, and Painter's Farmhouse.The village has a public house, 'The Alma'.The village has a purpose built community hall that was opened on 24th June 2023. The hall construction was possible thanks to a huge fundraising effort let by a body of trustees. The Community Hall can be booked for weddings, events, clubs and social meetings.There is a former Wesleyan Methodist chapel in the village, dating from 1873, which was known for many years as Whitehill Chapel & Champion Hall. In 2019 the building was purchased by the Diocese of the United Kingdom of the Anglican Catholic Church and renamed The Anglican Catholic Church of St Augustine of Canterbury.

Teynham railway station is on the Chatham Main Line in England, serving the village of Teynham, Kent. It is 47 miles 74 chains (77.1 km) down the line from London Victoria and is situated between Sittingbourne and Faversham. The station and all trains that call are operated by Southeastern. On the London-bound platform, there is a staffed booking office which is open only at certain times, as well as a passenger-operated self-service ticket machine issuing permits to travel.
