Ogemaw Township, Michigan

WBMI is an American radio station, licensed to West Branch, Michigan, the seat of government for Ogemaw County. The station broadcasts at the assigned frequency of 105.5 MHz with an erp of 6,000 watts.

The Pathway offers approximately 15 miles of trails open to hiking, cross country skiing, and biking. The Ogemaw Hills Pathway Council non-profit manages the trail system and grooms the trails for cross country skiing.Ogemaw Hills Pathway foot-travel pathway designation bans all motorized vehicle travel and equine use of the trail system.

The airport covers 520 acres at an elevation of 882 feet above sea level.A chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association is based at the airport. It hosts a number of events such as Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, and other social and educational activities.In 2022, accommodations were made to base a crew at the airport to transport West Branch residents to hospitals should critical care be needed.

The school is part of the West Branch-Rose City Area Schools district, which serves the nearby cities of West Branch and Rose City.

Lake St. Helen is a 2,400-acre (9.7 km2) public lake located in Roscommon County in the U.S. state of Michigan, and borders on the community of St. Helen, Michigan. It is the headwaters for the south branch of the Au Sable River. From 1998 to 2003, the Lake was subject to a water weed (millfoil) eradication project, involving weevil restocking, which was successful at the time. Fishing is available throughout the lake, albeit different fish are found in different places, and includes: Largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, perch, pike, and walleye. A Bluegill Festival is held each summer.The lake is located at 44°21′51″N 84°27′48″W and the elevation is 1,155 feet (352 m).
