The Joseph A. Hemann House in Cincinnati, Ohio, was built in 1870 by Joseph A. Hemann (1816-1897) and served as his residence for about ten years. It is located in Hamilton County in the neighborhood of Clifton on the corner of West McMillan and Hollister. Mr. Hemann was the founder of the Cincinnati Volksfreund in 1850.In April 1980, because the house represents a distinctive period in urban vernacular architecture, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places (Listing Reference Number 80003057).

The Church of Our Saviour, located at 65 East Holister Street in the Mount Auburn neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio. The parish's historic stone church was built in 1877 in the Gothic Revival style. Our Saviour was founded by wealthy residents of the once-affluent suburb of Mount Auburn, about 1 mi (1.6 km) north of downtown. Cincinnati annexed Mount Auburn in 1849.The congregation has, in recent generations, worked for social justice and since the early 1970s, the Church of Our Saviour has also been intentionally open and affirming towards its gay and lesbian members. For 20 years, Cincinnati's Metropolitan Community Church used facilities at the church for worship and other activities. Recently the congregation has reached out to the Latino community, offering bilingual Mass and services to communities of recent immigrants. The first Head Start program in Mount Auburn began at the church, as did the Mount Auburn Community Council, the Bethany House (a shelter for homeless mothers and children) in the Rectory, and AIDS Volunteers of Cincinnati (AVOC). The church draws active members from as far away as Dayton, Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Fifth Third Arena is an arena in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The arena opened in 1989 and is located on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. It primarily serves as the home venue for the Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball teams and hosts other events. It is located in the Myrl H. Shoemaker Center, which was also the name of the arena until 2005, when it was named for Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank.

Sudsy Malone's Rock 'n Roll Laundry & Bar was a music venue in the Corryville neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio, across the street from Bogart's near the University of Cincinnati. John Cioffi was the owner. Cioffi opened other clubs including Sudsys in Lexington. The site often showcased many indie music and punk music bands. As the name suggests, the bar also housed a laundromat. The site had difficulty staying in business over the years, closing and reopening its doors several times, finally closing for good in 2008. In addition to the nightly shows by local and regional acts, many more established musicians and bands played the site, including Beck, Afghan Whigs, Guided By Voices, The White Stripes, Smashing Pumpkins, Morphine, Wesley Willis, Ass Ponys, Sleater-Kinney, Neutral Milk Hotel, Modest Mouse, Over the Rhine, Rigor Mortis, Betty Blowtorch, Vains of Jenna, and many other up-and-coming bands of the punk/grunge/alternative music scene of the late 1980s and 1990s.In the fall of 2020, the former Sudsy's was demolished.

Armory Fieldhouse is an on-campus facility located at the University of Cincinnati. It was built in 1954 to replace the old Schmidlapp Gymnasium, and originally was used as the home for the Bearcats men's basketball team, who opened the building with a 97–65 win over Indiana on December 18, 1954. It was the home of the team for their two NCAA titles in 1961 and 1962, as well as the site where UC great Oscar Robertson broke the NCAA career scoring record on February 6, 1960, versus Houston. From December 6, 1957, the first home game of the season, to December 7, 1963, when they lost to Kansas, the team went undefeated in the building, a streak of 72 games. During that time, they won every home game played at the Cincinnati Gardens, for an overall streak of 90 straight home wins. The team's final game at the arena was February 14, 1976, a 60–45 win over Saint Louis University. From 1976 until the opening of the Shoemaker Center in 1989, the team played all their home games off-campus at the Riverfront Coliseum and Cincinnati Gardens. The building was remodeled in the 1980s to become a recreation center for the campus. It is located directly to the north of the Fifth Third Arena, located in (and formerly known as) the Shoemaker Center.

Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Its pastor is the Rev. Stacey Midge, who holds a Masters of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary, 2003.

The University of Cincinnati (UC or Cincinnati) is a public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1819 as Cincinnati College, it is the oldest institution of higher education in Cincinnati and has an annual enrollment of over 44,000 students, making it the second largest university in Ohio. It is part of the University System of Ohio. The university has four major campuses, with Cincinnati's main uptown campus and medical campus in the Heights and Corryville neighborhoods, and branch campuses in Batavia and Blue Ash, Ohio. The university has 14 constituent colleges, with programs in architecture, business, education, engineering, humanities, the sciences, law, music, and medicine. The medical college includes a leading teaching hospital and several biomedical research laboratories, with developments made including a live polio vaccine and diphenhydramine. UC was also the first university to implement a co-operative education (co-op) model.The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is classified as "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity". On July 19, 2015, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Samuel DuBose, an unarmed black man, was fatally shot by Ray Tensing, a white University of Cincinnati police officer, during a traffic stop for a missing front license plate and a suspended driver's license. Tensing fired after DuBose started his car. Tensing stated that DuBose had begun to drive off and that he was being dragged because his arm was caught in the car. Prosecutors alleged that footage from Tensing's bodycam showed that he was not dragged, and a grand jury indicted him on charges of murder and voluntary manslaughter. He was then fired from the police department. He was released on bond before trial. A November 2016 trial ended in mistrial after the jury became deadlocked. A retrial begun in May 2017 also ended in a hung jury. The charges against Tensing were later dismissed with prejudice.

Nippert Stadium is an outdoor stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. Primarily used for American football, it is the home field of the Cincinnati Bearcats football team. The stadium has also been used as a soccer venue, serving as the home of FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer from their inaugural 2016 USL season through the 2020 MLS season, following which they moved to TQL Stadium. Nippert Stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 40,000 following the expansion and renovation performed in 2014, and the 2017 removal of corner seats to accommodate FC Cincinnati during their transition to the MLS. In rudimentary form since 1901, permanent concrete stands were built along each sideline for the 1915 season and as a complete horseshoe stadium since 1924, making it the fourth-oldest playing site and fifth-oldest stadium in college football, respectively.

It contains 54 contributing buildings. The complex was originally constructed between 1884 and 1891, by a Jethro Mitchell.
