Northwest Township is a township in St. Louis County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. Its population was 32,245 as of the 2010 census.

Payne-Gentry House is a historic one story, red brick, vernacular-style cottage home located in Bridgeton, St. Louis County, Missouri. It was built in 1870. The Payne-Gentry house contains the only surviving historic Missouri house with a restored doctor’s office from the 19th century period. The house has six entrances and a gable roof. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Henry VIII Hotel, also known as The Henry VIII Inn and Lodge, was a hotel of Tudor Revival architecture which was located near the St. Louis Lambert International Airport with an address of 4690 North Lindbergh Boulevard, Bridgeton, Missouri. The hotel remained in business until 2000 when it was removed to expand a runway area for the nearby airport. The Federal Aviation Administration had approved the expansion in 1998 with airport runway planners calling for the demolition of the hotel as far back as 1995.

West Lake Landfill is a closed, unlined mixed-waste landfill located in Bridgeton, Missouri. It was featured in the 2015 documentaries The First Secret City, The Safe Side of the Fence and the 2017 HBO documentary Atomic Homefront. Its contents have been shown to include radioactive waste; it is thus also an EPA Superfund cleanup site.

St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Bridgeton, Missouri was a Catholic parish in northwestern St. Louis County, located within the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Founded in 1851, the parish population expanded with suburban development at such a rate in the 1950s and 1960s that seven new parishes were created in the area. This parish was closed in 2001 due to planned expansion of St. Louis Lambert Airport. The parish church and related buildings were acquired by the airport and razed in 2004.

It was redeveloped from the old Northwest Plaza. The former mall comprised nearly 1,770,000 square feet (164,438.4 m2) of gross leasable area, making it the 27th largest mall in the United States according to the International Council of Shopping Centers prior to its closure. With a total of 1.9 million square feet (180,000 m2) of enclosed space, it was the largest enclosed mall in the state of Missouri. The mall featured nine anchor stores and more than 210 stores at its peak.

Powerplex STL (stylized as POWERplex STL), formerly St. Louis Mills and St. Louis Outlet Mall, is a sporting venue and former shopping mall in Hazelwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Opened in 2003, the mall struggled with tenancy for many years and in 2020, began redevelopment into a sports property.
