It is a tributary of Plattin Creek.The stream headwaters arise in eastern St. Francois County at 37°59′40″N 90°22′05″W at an elevation of about 1040 feet. The stream flows to the northeast into Ste. Genevieve County just north of the Goose Creek Lake community. The stream flows north through the west portion of Ste. Genevieve County and enters Jefferson County. It enters Plattin Creek just north of the Missouri Route T bridge at 38°05′42″N 90°23′51″W.Dry Fork was named for the fact it often runs dry.

Buck Creek is a stream in Jefferson County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Joachim Creek.The stream headwaters arise at 38°08′52″N 90°27′04″W just northwest of US Route 67 and it flows northeast roughly parallel to that route for about two miles. The stream turns north for about 1.5 miles to its confluence with Joachim Creek about two miles west of Festus at 38°12′47″N 90°26′33″W.Buck Creek most likely was named for the bucks (male white-tailed deer) in the area.

The stream headwaters arise in northern St. Francis County approximately one mile northeast of Halifax at 38°01′15″N 90°27′59″W. It flows to the northeast into southern Jefferson County and its confluence with Plattin Creek at 38°03′37″N 90°25′23″W.Boyd Branch has the name of the original owner of the site.
