Armeets Arena Sofia (Bulgarian: Арена Армеец София, [ɐˈrɛnə ɐrˈmɛet͡s ˈsɔfijə]) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has a seating capacity of 12,373. For concerts it can grow to 17,906. It was originally called Arena Sofia before the Bulgarian insurance company Armeets purchased the naming rights. There are 887 parking lots, 614 of them placed in a central exterior parking, 231 placed in near streets and 42 designated for disabled people. Designed as a universal hall for cultural events and sports, the arena could host up to 30 types of sports, including basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, boxing, tennis, weightlifting, fencing and gymnastics competitions as well as concerts.

The Dragalevska (Bulgarian: Драгалевска река, Dragalevska reka) is a river in western Bulgaria, a tertiary tributary of the Iskar. The river flows from the lower northern part of Torfeno Branishte Nature Reserve on Vitosha Mountain, and passes by Kominite area; at the northern foothills of Vitosha the river crosses the village of Dragalevtsi (now part of Sofia, from which the river takes its name), then join few other minor rivers to form Slatinska, and flow into the Perlovska which in turn flows into the Iskar river in the northeastern outskirts of Sofia.

Akademik Stadium is a football stadium located in Sofia, Bulgaria with a capacity of 8,000 sitting and 2,000 standing for sports and expandable to 22,000 for concerts. The stadium complex consists of 1 grass field, 2 additional fields, 4 changing rooms and 1 cafe-bar, as well as halls for Tae Bo, boxing, judo, a dancesport hall and a gym.

Euroroma (Bulgarian: Евророма) is the biggest political party representing the interests of the Romani people in Bulgaria. Established on 12 December 1998, Euroroma is not strictly an ethnic party, as it is open to everybody who shares its ideas and goals. In accordance with the stability pact, over 30% of the leadership of the political party are ethnic Bulgarians. Similarly, members of Euroroma's municipal and regional structures are not only Romani people, but also Bulgarians and Turks.

Slatina (Bulgarian: Слатина [ˈsɫatinɐ]) is a district located in the eastern parts of the capital Sofia. As of 2006 it has 65,772 inhabitants. The district has an area of 13.25 km² which counts for 6.69% of the total Capital Municipality area. It is a flat country with some heights to the west. Slatina, then a village, was first mentioned in 1420 as İslatina. Its name is derived from the common Bulgarian noun slatina, "saline spring", itself from the adjective slat ("salty, saline"). The word is attested in Old Bulgarian as СЛАТИНА, "bog, swamp, marsh", "non-squirting spring". The name is popular in Bulgarian and Slavic toponymy.Its borders follow Iskarsko Shose Str., Iskar River, Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd, Sitnyakovo Blvd, Boyan Magesnik Str, Stoyan Popov Str and Letostrui Str. Slatina includes five neighbourhoods: "Yavorov"; "Geo Milev"; "Hristo Smirnenski"; "Reduta" and "Hristo Botev". "Reduta" neighbourhood is the highest place in the capital. There are 23 hectares of green spaces and 3 parks. There are several important institutions, such as the Ministry of Domestic Affairs, Committee for Exploiting Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes, and State Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov". The embassies of Sweden, China, India and Romania are located there. There are also two sports halls: "Festivalna" and "Universiada".

Universiada Hall (Bulgarian: Зала "Универсиада") is an Indoor arena in Sofia, Bulgaria. Opened in 1961 for the II Summer Universiade, the arena has a seating capacity for 4,000 people and is the regular home venue of the Levski Sofia basketball team.

Izgrev (Bulgarian: Изгрев [ˈizɡrɛf], meaning "sunrise") is one of the 24 districts of Sofia. It has an area of about 4.2 km2 The population as of 2006 is 33,611. It includes three neighbourhoods: "Iztok" (pop. 15,600), "Dianabad" (14,000) and "Izgrev" (3,100). There are many parks and green spaces which cover around 42% of the municipal area making it one of the environmentally friendliest urban areas in Sofia. There are 17 foreign embassies. The economy is dominated by services, trade, finance, industry and construction. There are 15 small and middle-size manufacturing plants and 2 large ones producing electrical and electronic equipment, machinery, metals and metal details. There are 340 trade sites which include the World Trade Centre "Interpred". The unemployment for 2004 is 3,1% and for 2006- 1,1% which is among the lowest in the capital and the nation. The public infrastructure includes 12 schools, 9 kindergartens, 2 clinics, Hospital for active treatment of neurogy and psychiatry, 2 libraries. Other institutions structures include the Borisova Gradina TV Tower, National Sports Complex "Diana", Park-Hotel "Moskva" (Moscow), National Investigating Department, several TV headquarters, Yug (South) Bus Station and others.
