Loon Lake (Lake County, Illinois)

Loon Lake is an unincorporated community in Antioch Township, Lake County, Illinois, United States. Loon Lake is located at the junction of Illinois Route 83 and County Route 10A on the northern border of Lake Villa.

Antioch Community High School, Antioch, or ACHS, is a public four-year high school located in Antioch, Illinois, a far north suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Community High School District 117, which also includes Lakes Community High School, a school that opened its doors and formed the district in 2004.

Benet Lake (also Renet Lake) is a community in the village of Salem Lakes in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located north of Antioch, Illinois. The community takes its name from the Benedictine Fathers, who own the south side of Benet Lake and established a monastery/seminary in 1945.

Lake Catherine is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 1,279.

The David Hall House is a historic house at 25420 W. Cedar Crest Lane in Lake Villa, Illinois. The house was built in 1931 for David and May Cave Hall, a wealthy couple who settled in Lake Villa after taking summer vacations there for many years. Architect Ralph Wesley Varney designed the building in the Art Deco with elements of popular revival styles of the period. An unusual choice for a residential building, the use of Art Deco was likely inspired by May's travels to Hollywood in the 1920s. The house's design includes a rusticated limestone exterior, large Gothic arch windows, a triangular canopy above the entrance, a metal oriel window, and a stepped roof. Its grounds include a swimming pool and terrace garden.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 25, 2014.
