St. John F.C. is a football club based in Jersey in the Channel Islands, which was founded in 1919. They are affiliated with the Jersey Football Association and play in the Jersey Football Combination Premiership. Their ground hosted matches during the 2015 Island Games, including a match between Jersey and the Isle of Man which attracted 1,800 fans. Jersey born YouTuber Chris Dixon (known by his online alias ChrisMD) played for St. John F.C. and created a series of videos about his and the club's past seasons. On 22 July 2017, St. John played Isthmian League side Hashtag United in an exhibition match at Springfield Stadium which was won by Hashtag 3–1.

The Fremont Point transmitting station is a facility for FM radio and television transmission at Fremont, Vingtaine du Nord, Saint John, Jersey. It serves the whole of the Channel Islands, either directly or via the relay stations at Mont Orgueil, Alderney, Saint Brelade, Saint Helier, St Peter Port, Torteval and Les Touillets - the last of which is a high power relay which covers most of Guernsey. Its antennas are mounted on a 139-metre-tall (456 ft) tower built of lattice steel. That transmitter was previously located at Lichfield in Staffordshire. It is owned by Arqiva. DAB radio on VHF Band III is transmitted from the nearby Les Platons site.

Les Platons is the highest point of Jersey, a British Crown dependency, with an elevation of 136 metres (446 ft). It is located in the Vingtaine de la Ville-à-l'Évêque in the parish of Trinity. There are radio transmitters, and a radar station located at Les Platons. In October 1955, Les Platons was used as a site for a television transmitter to bring BBC Television (later renamed BBC One) transmissions to the Channel Islands. It transmitted BBC Television on the VHF 405 line service on channel 4 from Monday 3 October 1955. The site was also used to bring the BBC national radio stations to the Channel Islands. Before 1955 the Channel Islands had no transmitters, and received AM radio transmissions of the BBC national radio stations from mainland England. The BBC started FM transmissions on 16 October 1961 from Les Platons, of the Home, Light and Third Programmes (had started in the UK in the mid-to-late 1950s). Later this became 91.1 as Radio 2 (with occasional Radio 1), 94.75 as Radio 3 (later rounded up to 94.8), and 97.1 as Radio 4. In March 1992, a new frequency on 89.6 was introduced for Radio 2; Radio 3 then moved to 91.1, and Radio 4 to 94.8, allowing Radio 1 to begin service on 97.1. The Fremont Point transmitter about 1¼ miles (2 km) west of Les Platons would go on the air in September 1962 bringing Independent Television (ITV) to the Channel Islands for the first time in the form of the ITV franchise Channel Television. In due course Fremont Point became the main television transmitter site for the Channel Islands. It started broadcasting UHF 625 television in 1976 along with the introduction of BBC2 and colour television to the Channel Islands. Les Platons television transmissions ceased in 1985 when the old VHF 405 line transmissions ceased in the UK. From 1985 onwards, Les Platons has been a radio transmitter site only.

St John (Jèrriais and French: Saint-Jean) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey and is around 7.3 kilometres (4.5 mi) north of St Helier on the north coast of the island. It has a surface area of 8.7 km2. St John's Village is also the name of the main village in the parish. The parish is largely rural, with two main settlements: its namesake village and the village of Sion on the border with St Helier.

Trinity (French: La Trinité, Jèrriais: La Trinneté) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is 5.8 kilometres (3.6 mi) north of St Helier. It has a population of 3,156. The parish covers 6,975 vergées (12.3 km2 [4.7 sq mi]). Les Platons in the north of the parish is the highest point in Jersey. The parish borders St John, St Helier, St Saviour and St Martin. Trinity is an agricultural, rural parish, with only 16% of the parish being built up, and 61% dedicated to cultivation. The population is generally spread out across the whole parish, with a loosely defined village towards the north of the parish. The parish's main bay is Bouley Bay, a short distance from the village. A section of Rozel Bay is also shared with neighbouring St Martin. It is home to the States Farm, Jersey Zoo, the Royal Jersey Agricultural and Horticultural Society Showground, and the Pallot Heritage Steam Museum. The parish church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, the only island parish church not dedicated to a saint. The coat of arms of the Parish of Trinity shows the Shield of the Trinity diagram.

St. Lawrence F.C. is a football club based on the Channel Island of Jersey, United Kingdom. They are affiliated to the Jersey Football Association and play in the Jersey Football Combination Premiership 2.

Bouley Bay Hill Climb is a hillclimbing event held in Trinity, Jersey, and organised by The Jersey Motor Cycle and Light Car Club. The course on Les Charrières du Boulay was "first used for competition in 1921" and since 1947 has hosted a round (latterly two rounds) of the British Hill Climb Championship. Bouley Bay and Val des Terres hill climb in Guernsey are normally held in July and provide a two-stop tour for UK drivers contesting the series. Of the 1947 event Raymond Mays said: "My E.R.A.'s time counted as a record because, although it was slower than the figure set the previous year by Bainbridge's 1½-litre E.R.A., the 1947 climb was run for the first time from a standing start." The 2008 meeting included rounds 17 and 18 of the British Hill Climb Championship, both being won by Scott Moran.

St Lawrence (French: Saint-Laurent; Jèrriais: St Louothains) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is located 8.0 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of St Helier. The parish covers 5,258 vergées (9.5 km2) and occupies the centre of the Island. St Lawrence Village is also the name of a village in the parish. Much of the parish is inland, though it has a short stretch of coastline in St Aubin's Bay. It borders St Peter and St Mary to the west, St John to the north and east, and St Helier to the east.
