Harlestone

Northampton Golf Club is a golf club and course in Harlestone, to the northwest of Northampton and immediately to the southeast of Althorp, in Northamptonshire, England. The club was established on 1 July 1893. Three of the holes, the 16th to the 18th, are set around Harlestone Lake.

Church Brampton was a railway station on the Northampton Loop Line serving the village of Church Brampton in Northamptonshire. The station was opened on 13 May 1912, to serve the villages of Church Brampton and Harlestone, but primarily the newly opened Northamptonshire Golf Club. It was opened by the London & North Western Railway, which became the London, Midland and Scottish Railway in 1923. The station had a short life of only 19 years, it was closed on 18 May 1931; the reason for the closure was stated to be that most golfers by then arrived by car. All traces of the station were removed when the line was electrified in the 1960s.

Church Brampton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Church with Chapel Brampton, in the West Northamptonshire district, in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England. Together with nearby Chapel Brampton the two villages are known as The Bramptons. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 251 people. On 1 April 2009 the parish was abolished and merged with Chapel Brampton to form "Church with Chapel Brampton".The villages name means 'Broom farm/settlement'. Its church, St. Botolph's, dates back to the early 13th century. Just outside the village are two golf clubs, Church Brampton's Northamptonshire County Golf Course and the Brampton Heath golf course, a public course.

Harlestone Heath is a 2.6-hectare (6.4-acre) nature reserve north-west of Northampton in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.The site is two narrow strips on either side of the Northampton loop railway line between Northampton and Rugby, with a tunnel connecting the strips. A stream runs along the north-east boundary. It is acid heathland, which is rare in the county. Birds include green woodpeckers and siskins, and there are butterflies such as brown arguses and speckled woods.There is access by footpaths from Harlestone Road through the Firs conifer plantation.

Dallington Heath is a heath in the West Northamptonshire district, in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England, notable for its complex of crop marks.

Berrywood Hospital is a modern psychiatric hospital on the outskirts of Duston, Northampton. It is managed by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Holdenby is an English village and civil parish about 5.5 miles (8.9 km) north-west of Northampton in West Northamptonshire. The parish population measured by the 2011 census was 170. The village name means "Halfdan's/Haldan's farm/settlement".

Althorp is a lost village within the grounds of the Althorp estate in the English county of Northamptonshire. The village is recorded in the Domesday Book. In the 15th century, the manor was held by the Catesby family who were probably responsible for clearing the settlement, for by 1505, the records show that there were no tenants. In 1508, the parish, including the cleared settlement of Althorp, was sold to John Spencer of Wormleighton in Warwickshire. By 1577, the land in the parish had been divided into four large sheep pastures. Althorp remains a civil parish.

Church with Chapel Brampton is a civil parish in the West Northamptonshire district, in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England. The two main settlements are Church Brampton and Chapel Brampton (sometimes known as The Bramptons). The population of the parish was 808 at the 2011 census. The parish was formed on 1 April 2009 from "Chapel Brampton" and "Church Brampton".This civil parish is part of the ecclesiastical benefice of 'Brington with Whilton and Norton and Church Brampton with Chapel Brampton and Harlestone and East Haddon and Holdenby'. In 2022, research published by Savills reported that the parish was the most desired place to live in Northamptonshire and one of the most desired in the UK. In 2021, Golf Lane in Church Brampton was named the most expensive street in Northamptonshire.

St Crispin's Hospital was a large psychiatric facility on the outskirts of Duston village in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England. It was established Northampton Mental Hospital in 1876 and closed in 1995. The site has since been redeveloped for residential use with a small mental health unit still remaining there.

All Saints Church is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Holdenby, Northamptonshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
