Hilton Central School District

Hilton is a village in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 6,027 at the 2020 census. The community was named for the Rev. Charles A. Hilton. The Village of Hilton is within the Town of Parma.

Hilton High School is part of the 4,450-student Hilton Central School District, a public school system based in Hilton, a suburb of Rochester, New York. Hilton High School offers an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and the school has made Newsweek 's Top 1,200 schools in the United States each year since ranking at number 989 in 2005. Hilton has a high graduation rate of 92% (2017–18) and is ranked in the top 200 in New York state and eighth of approximately 20 schools in Monroe County.

Curtis-Crumb Farm is a historic home and farm complex located at Hilton in Monroe County, New York. The farmhouse was constructed in about 1845 and is a modest example of the rural Greek Revival style. The property also includes a carriage house, a hog pen, a smoke house, a corn crib, a 270-foot-long (82 m) stone wall, a cedar split-rail fence, and the remaining 141 acres (57 ha) of the original 145-acre (59 ha) farm.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Chase Cobblestone Farmhouse, also known as the Chase-Flack Farmhouse, is a historic home located at the Village of Hilton in Monroe County, New York, United States. It is a vernacular Greek Revival style cobblestone farmhouse built about 1836. It is constructed of rather small sized field cobbles and is one of ten surviving cobblestone buildings in the Town of Parma.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

North Star School District No. 11, also known as the North Star History Center, is a historic one-room school building located at Hamlin, Monroe County, New York. It was built in 1844, and is a one-story, Greek Revival style brick building. It rests on a Medina sandstone foundation and has a front gable roof with a prominent cornice and topped by a bell tower. It has a front porch added in 1912 and rear frame additions added about 1952. Also on the property are two contributing wooden privies and a coal house (c. 1880). The school closed in 1952, and subsequently used as a community center and local history museum since 1987.: 3, 7 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

New York's 25th congressional district is a congressional district for the United States House of Representatives. It is currently represented by Democrat Joseph Morelle. Since 2023, the district has been located within Monroe County and part of Orleans County, centered on the city of Rochester. In the 2018 race, the seat was vacant. State Assembly Member Joseph Morelle (Democrat) faced James Maxwell (Republican, Conservative, Reform), in the general election, which Morelle won handily. Morelle went on to win reelection in 2020 and 2022.

As a brokered time station, nationally known religious leaders pay WDCX for their half hour segments on the station, and appeal to the listeners for contributions. Braddock Bay, sometimes improperly referred to as Braddock's Bay, is a small bay of Lake Ontario located in Monroe County northwest of Rochester, New York in the United States. Braddock Bay is renowned for being an excellent bird-watching location, as raptors and other birds congregate there when migrating north in spring.

William Covert Cobblestone Farmhouse, also known as the Covert-Brodie-Pollok House, is a historic home located at Greece, New York. It is a Greek Revival style cobblestone farmhouse built about 1832. It is constructed of medium-sized field cobbles and is one of four surviving cobblestone buildings in Greece. The property includes a contributing cobblestone well with pump.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
