Covenant Christian Academy (Colleyville, Texas)

Colleyville is a city in northeastern Tarrant County, Texas, United States, centrally located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. A wealthy suburb of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Colleyville was originally a small farm town in the 19th century. The population was 22,807 at the 2010 census.

Lawrence Dale Bell High School (generally known as L.D. Bell High School and also known as Hurst Bell) is an American high school located in the cities of Hurst and Bedford, Texas and part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. The school is named for Lawrence Dale Bell, the founder of nearby Bell Helicopter Textron, and was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 1994–96.L. D. Bell's marching band won the Bands of America Grand National Championship in 2007. The men's and women's gymnastics teams have won a combined total of 36 state championships since 1967.

Bedford is a city located in northeastern Tarrant County, Texas, United States, in the "Mid-Cities" area between Dallas and Fort Worth. It is a suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth. The population was 46,979 at the 2010 census. Bedford is part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District.

On January 15, 2022, Malik Akram, a 44-year-old British Pakistani armed with a pistol, took four people hostage in the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, United States, during a Sabbath service. Hostage negotiations ensued, during which Akram demanded the release of Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani national and alleged al-Qaeda operative imprisoned in nearby Fort Worth for attempted murder and other crimes. He released one hostage after six hours, and the remaining three hostages escaped eleven hours into the standoff. Tactical officers from the FBI Hostage Rescue Team subsequently entered the synagogue and fatally shot Akram.

Bransford was an unincorporated community, in Tarrant County, located in the U.S. state of Texas. It was since renamed Colleyville, for Dr. Lilburn Howard Colley, who came to the area in 1880.

Birdville High School (BHS) is a public high school located in the city of North Richland Hills, Texas and is the second newest school in the Birdville Independent School District (second to Walker Creek Elementary). Established in 1999, it was the third high school built into the Birdville Independent School District. Birdville High School is home to the Birdville Hawks and hosts grades 9-12. For the 2009-2010 school year, according to the TEA (Texas Education Agency), Birdville High School's population consisted of 6.3% Black/African American, 20.6% Hispanic/Latino(a), 68.3% White/Caucasian, 0.6% Native American, and 4.2% Asian/Pacific Islander.

The Gene A. Buinger Career and Technical Education Academy (also colloquially known as the Buinger Academy, BCTEA, or Tech Center) is a public technical high school in Bedford, Texas. The school serves grade levels 10–12 and is part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. The Buinger Academy is not a traditional high school; it does not directly enroll students and students cannot graduate with a diploma from the Academy. Instead, it hosts career and technical education classes for Trinity and L.D. Bell high schools, and students are transported to and from their classes at the Academy by school bus.

St. Vincent's Cathedral is an Anglican church in Bedford, Texas. It is the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth. The cathedral played a major part in the Anglican realignment by hosting the inaugural assembly in 2009 where the Anglican Church in North America was constituted.

St. Vincent's School was a private Anglican school in Bedford, Texas, United States. It was a school of St. Vincent's Cathedral in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth of the Anglican Church in North America and the Anglican Church of the Southern Cone.In the 2013–2014 school year, the school had 17.5 classroom teachers and served 108 students in prekindergarten through 12th grade.In 2010 the school rejected a 4-year old for admission because her parents were lesbians.In Fall of 2011, St. Vincent's implemented an Upper School for high school education.The former location of St. Vincent's Cathedral School is now used by Gracewood Academy, a private, part-time Christian homeschool.

Pennington Field is a multi-purpose stadium located in Bedford, Texas. The 12,500-capacity facility is primarily used for local high school football and soccer teams of Trinity High School and L.D. Bell High School. It is owned and operated by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. In addition to high school sports, Pennington Field was previously used by the DFW Tornados of the Premier Development League from 2004-2010, the American Eightman Football League (AEFL), and the Red River Bowl for NJCAA. Pennington Field does not have a track around the field, partly because the city of Bedford has an ordinance requiring all tracks to be open to the public. The result is that the seats are closer to the sidelines, creating a more intimate spectator experience.

Hurst is a city in the U.S. state of Texas located in the densely populated portion of northeastern Tarrant County and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. It is considered a Dallas and Fort Worth suburb and is part of the Mid-Cities region. It is 13 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 40,413.The city of Hurst is surrounded by other communities including Bedford, Euless, Fort Worth, Richland Hills, North Richland Hills, Grapevine, and Colleyvile. Hurst's education system is sponsored and served by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District, while other school districts Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and Birdville ISD serve the far north and far west portions. Places of importance inside Hurst include the Tarrant County College campus that was built in 1961, the newly constructed Tarrant County Northeast Courthouse, the headquarters of Bell Helicopter (considered to be in the city limits of Fort Worth), The Hurst/Bell Station (opened in September 2000) that is jointly owned by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the Trinity Railway Express. The city's premier shopping center, North East Mall that was ranked the #1 Shopping Mall in Tarrant County and is the third largest mall in the state of Texas. The North East Mall opened in March 1972 (sources vary), is owned by the Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group. Hurst's only cinema complex, the North East Cinemark Rave 18 opened in 2004. Respectively in 2012, Hurst was ranked at #48 as one of the Best Dallas Suburbs according to D Magazine.

The NYTEX Sports Centre is a 2,400-seat multi-purpose arena in North Richland Hills, Texas. It is home to the Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League and the Texas Jr. Brahmas in the North American 3 Hockey League. The facility was designed by architect Kent Holcomb and built in 1999 as the Blue Line Ice Complex before being renamed in June 2006. It is owned by NYTEX Sports, a management firm based in New York City and Texas.
