Birdville High School (BHS) is a public high school located in the city of North Richland Hills, Texas and is the second newest school in the Birdville Independent School District (second to Walker Creek Elementary). Established in 1999, it was the third high school built into the Birdville Independent School District. Birdville High School is home to the Birdville Hawks and hosts grades 9-12. For the 2009-2010 school year, according to the TEA (Texas Education Agency), Birdville High School's population consisted of 6.3% Black/African American, 20.6% Hispanic/Latino(a), 68.3% White/Caucasian, 0.6% Native American, and 4.2% Asian/Pacific Islander.

NRH2O Family Water Park, stylized as NRH2O, is a water park located in North Richland Hills, Texas, owned by the City of North Richland Hills. The park opened in 1995 and contains water slides, a swimming pool, a wave pool, and a lazy river.

Smithfield is a former town in north-central Tarrant County, Texas. Located 10 miles southwest of the city of Grapevine, it was originally named Zion after the Methodist Church. A Masonic lodge and businesses existed in the city by 1876. After the donation of land for a church and cemetery, the city was renamed after donor Eli Smith who moved to the area from Missouri in 1859. Fires in 1890 and 1929 destroyed many areas of commerce in the city. However, its population remained steady through the 1930s. The city was annexed by North Richland Hills in 1958; however, Smithfield Middle School, Smithfield Elementary School and Smithfield Cemetery still carry on the name of the former town.

North Richland Hills, commonly known as NRH, is a city inside Tarrant County, Texas, United States, and a mid-to-high end suburb of Fort Worth. The population was 69,917 at the 2020 census, making it the third largest city in Tarrant County. In 2006, North Richland Hills was selected as one of the “Top 100 Best Places to live in America” according to Money magazine, and in 2016, the Dallas Morning News ranked North Richland Hills #9 on its list of best Dallas–Fort Worth neighborhoods. It is home to the Birdville Independent School District, and the northern portion is served by Keller ISD. NRH notably houses the headquarters of HealthMarkets. North Richland Hills features popular businesses and locations, including the NRH20 Water Park, Medical City North Hills, and its own state-of-the-art public library. Additionally, NRH is surrounded by numerous communities, such as Haltom City, Keller, Hurst, and Southlake. It also housed the now-demolished North Hills Mall, which ceased operations in 2004. As of 2016, that site is now the new location of the North Richland Hills City Hall. In 2012, North Richland Hills was ranked at #44 as one of the Best Dallas Suburbs according to D Magazine.

Fort Worth Christian School is a private Christian preparatory school in North Richland Hills, Texas. Established in 1958, the school serves students in preschool through grade 12. On February 27, 2010, the 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush spoke at the Annual FWC Cardinal Gala at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.All high school and middle school students are given a personal ChromeBook. In the elementary school, students use iPads to assist in their learning.

Hurst is a city in the U.S. state of Texas located in the densely populated portion of northeastern Tarrant County and is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. It is considered a Dallas and Fort Worth suburb and is part of the Mid-Cities region. It is 13 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Places of importance inside Hurst include the Tarrant County College campus that was built in 1961, the newly constructed Tarrant County Northeast Courthouse, the headquarters of Bell Helicopter (considered to be in the city limits of Fort Worth), The Hurst/Bell Station (opened in September 2000) that is jointly owned by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the Trinity Railway Express. The city's premier shopping center, North East Mall that was ranked the #1 Shopping Mall in Tarrant County and is the third largest mall in the state of Texas. The North East Mall opened in March 1972 (sources vary), is owned by the Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group. Hurst's only cinema complex, the North East Cinemark Rave 18 opened in 2004. Respectively in 2012, Hurst was ranked at #48 as one of the Best Dallas Suburbs according to D Magazine.

North East Mall (previously as Northeast Mall) is an American super-regional shopping mall located in Hurst, Texas, United States, a suburb in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. It is located below highways SH 121, SH 183, and is east of Interstate Highway 820 S. It features two units, the main mall and the outside being the Shops at North East Mall both encompassing a total of 2,134,000 square feet (198,000 m2) and featuring 135 stores. The mall features Macy's, Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Penney's.

The Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning (BCTAL) is a magnet school in the Birdville Independent School District, located in North Richland Hills, Texas. BCTAL offers students of Haltom High School, Richland High School, and Birdville High School courses in career and technology.

Richland High School is a secondary school located in North Richland Hills, Texas. The school includes grades 9 through 12, and is part of the Birdville Independent School District.

North Hills Mall was a shopping mall on SH 26 in North Richland Hills, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas, United States. It held its grand opening on 12 September 1979. The property premiered with department stores, Stripling and Cox, Sanger Harris, and Mervyn's serving as anchor tenants. It would be successful for the first 20 years of its existence.

Lawrence Dale Bell High School (generally known as L.D. Bell High School and also known as Hurst Bell) is an American high school located in the cities of Hurst and Bedford, Texas and part of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. The school is named for Lawrence Dale Bell, the founder of nearby Bell Helicopter Textron, and was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School for 1994–96.L. D. Bell's marching band won the Bands of America Grand National Championship in 2007. The men's and women's gymnastics teams have won a combined total of 36 state championships since 1967.
