Carmen High School of Science and Technology is a charter school in the Milwaukee Public Schools district in Wisconsin. It is located at 1712 South 32nd Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It includes a South Campus and a Northwest Campus. It was ranked 7th best school in Wisconsin by U.S. News & World Report.

Two Opposites Reaching Up Toward the Peak of Progress is a public art work by American artist Thomas Queoff, located on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The granite sculpture is an obelisk made of a narrow piece of red granite cut into a tapering hourglass form. At its base, the sculpture is approximately two feet wide. As the sculpture narrows by a foot toward its midsection, the granite's surface is faceted along a diagonal line. Toward the sculpture's again wider top, a trapezoidal void in the shape of an elongated diamond divides the granite and gives it the appearance of the eye of a needle. The artwork is located in the traffic median on S. Layton Blvd. between W. Greenfield Ave. and W. Orchard St.

The St. Vincent de Paul Church, referred to in Polish as Kościół Świętego Wincentego a Paulo, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Its parish church, located at 2114 W. Mitchell St. on Milwaukee's South Side, is one of Milwaukee's "Polish Cathedrals."

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic church built in 1901 by a German Lutheran congregation southwest of the Walker's Point neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Holler House is a tavern that houses the oldest sanctioned tenpin bowling alley in the United States. Holler House contains the two oldest sanctioned lanes in the nation, both of which are still tended by human pinsetters.Holler House was opened in the Lincoln Village neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1908. The 100th anniversary party was held on Saturday, September 14, 2008. Esquire has rated Holler House one of the best bars in America.

Forest Home Cemetery is a historic rural cemetery located in the Lincoln Village neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is the final resting place of many of the city's famed beer barons, politicians and social elite. Both the cemetery and its Landmark Chapel are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and were declared a Milwaukee Landmark in 1973. The cemetery is run by a non-profit organization held in public trust. Profits from each sale are reinvested to insure continual care of the buildings and land. Its Victorian landscape contains over 100 species of trees, along with many ornate statues, crypts and monuments.

St. Adalbert's Church referred to in Polish as 'Kościół Świętego Wojciecha', is a Roman Catholic Parish located at 1923 W. Becher St on Milwaukee's South Side, and one of Milwaukee's 'Polish Cathedrals.

The Excelsior Masonic Temple (now the Life Restoration Church) is a historic building located at 2422 West National Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Built in 1923, and designed in the Classical Revival style by architect Richard Oberst, the building was originally constructed as a meeting hall for Excelsior Lodge #175 F.&A.M (a local Masonic Lodge that is no longer in existence). The building was sold by the Lodge in the 1990s, and is now used by a local church.The building is deemed to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places, but was not listed due to owner objection.

Susan Stuart Goodrich Frackelton (1848–1932) was an American painter, specializing in painting ceramics. She was a leader in the Arts and Crafts movement in the United States and author of Tried by Fire, the "most popular handbook for decorators of chinaware", having reached a national audience.

The Reaper is a public art work by artist Gustav Bohland, located on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bronze sculpture depicts an agricultural worker dressed in overalls and a wide-brimmed hat. One hand rests against his hip, and the other hand grasps the snath of a scythe that rests across his shoulders. The tool's toe and cline hang behind the figure's back. His boots rest on a small round base mounted on a circular flagstone pedestal. The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters of MaltEurop.

The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters of MaltEurop.

The Sower is a public art work by artist Gustav Bohland, located on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bronze sculpture depicts an agricultural worker dressed in overalls and carrying a seed bag. The figure's shirt sleeves are rolled up past his elbows and the wide brim of a hat shades his face. His shirt collar is open. One hand holds the seed bag against his hip, and the other hand is cupped and extended in a gesture of scattering seeds. His boots rest on a small round base mounted on a circular flagstone pedestal. The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters for MaltEurop.
