Anoka County ( ə-NOH-kə) is the fourth-most populous county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, its population was 363,887. The county seat and namesake of the county is the city of Anoka, which is derived from the Dakota word anokatanhan meaning "on (or from) both sides", referring to its location on the banks of the Rum River. The largest city in the county is Blaine, the thirteenth-largest city in Minnesota and the eighth-largest Twin Cities suburb. Anoka County comprises the north portion of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul statistical area, the largest metropolitan area in the state and the 16th-largest in the United States with about 3.64 million residents. The county is bordered by the counties of Isanti on the north, Chisago and Washington on the east, Hennepin and Ramsey on the south, Sherburne on the west, and the Mississippi River on the southwest. The Rum River cuts through the county and was the site of many early European settlements. It was a common route to the Mille Lacs Lake, the spiritual homeland of the Ojibwe people. Father Louis Hennepin traveled the river in his first exploration of the region. The area became a center of fur trade and logging as French and French Canadian communities grew in the cities of Anoka and Centerville. Organized in 1857, the county's southern border eventually met Minneapolis and has become a predominantly suburban area following the construction of Interstate 35W. The county is home to local Twin Cities destinations such as the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights and Northtown Mall and the National Sports Center in Blaine.

The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic property in Anoka County, Minnesota. It is located at 2332 Swedish Drive in Ham Lake, Minnesota. The Late Victorian style church was built in 1872 to the design of architect Per August Gustafson. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church is owned and maintained by the congregation of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of East Bethel, Minnesota and is also known as Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Ham Lake. Both churches are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Coon Lake is a lake in Anoka County, Minnesota, in the United States. Coon Lake was named from the fact the lakefront area was a popular hunting ground of raccoons.

Constance was an unincorporated community in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The site of Constance village, now abandoned, is within the present boundaries of the city of Andover.

Blaine High School is a public high school in Blaine, Minnesota as part of the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11. The school was opened in 1972, as part of the Blaine Project.

The 3M Championship was a professional golf tournament in Minnesota on the PGA Tour Champions, played annually at the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Based in Saint Paul, 3M was the main sponsor of the tournament. It debuted 31 years ago in 1993 as the Burnet Senior Classic, and was originally held at the Bunker Hills Golf Course in nearby Coon Rapids. After eight editions, the tournament moved to the year-old TPC Twin Cities in 2001, when 3M took over as sponsor. The purse in 2017 was $1.75 million, with a winner's share of $262,500.Within the tournament was the "Greats of Golf Challenge," an exhibition scramble on Saturday among teams of former major winners and hall of famers of both genders. Recent participants include Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Nancy Lopez. In 2018, it was announced that the 2018 3M Championship would be the final playing of the event, as it would be replaced by the 3M Open on the PGA Tour starting in 2019. Kenny Perry was the final champion of the event, winning his third 3M Championship on August 5, 2018.

The 3M Open is a professional golf tournament in Minnesota on the PGA Tour, held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Announced by the PGA Tour in June 2018, the tournament debuted in 2019 on July 4–7. Minnesota-based company 3M is the title sponsor of the event. It succeeded the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event for 26 years (1993–2018), held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001.

TPC Twin Cities is a private golf club in the north central United States, located within the subdivision of Deacon’s Walk in Blaine, Minnesota, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Opened in 2000, the 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Arnold Palmer in consultation with Tom Lehman; who is a member of the Tournament Players Club network operated by the PGA Tour. Since 2001, it has hosted the 3M Championship on the PGA Tour Champions. On June 18, 2018, it was announced that the 3M Championship would end after 2018, and be replaced by the 3M Open, a PGA Tour event starting in 2019.

Bunker Beach is a water park in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, United States, within the 1,700-acre (690 ha) Bunker Hills Regional Park. It is owned by the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department.

Carlos Avery Game Farm is a complex of 11 buildings at the Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area in Minnesota, United States, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The buildings are the administrative center for the wildlife management area, which extends across a large part of Anoka and Chisago counties, as well as for a number of other Minnesota Department of Natural Resources properties in the area. The nomination for the NRHP noted that when it opened in 1937, it was one of the largest and best-equipped game farms in the nation, as well as one of the first large-scale wildlife management efforts in Minnesota.

The Super Rink at National Sports Center is a 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) ice rink facility that features eight sheets of ice and is the largest ice arena complex in the world. It is located on the National Sports Center campus in Blaine, Minnesota, a northern suburb of Minneapolis – Saint Paul.
