Lingsberg Runestones

Sankta Birgittas folkhögskola is a folk high school located across the road from Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm with a branch in Södertälje. It is run by the Foundation for Sweden's Catholic Folk High Schools (sw. Stiftelsen Sveriges Katolska folkhögskola) which also runs Sankta Elisabets folkhögskola in Gothenburg and Sankta Marias folkhögskola in Malmö.

Uppland Runic Inscription 210 or U 210 is the Rundata catalog listing for a Viking Age memorial runic inscription which is carved on a rock-face that is located in Åsta, which is three kilometers east of Vallentuna, Stockholm County, Sweden, and in the historic province of Uppland. The inscription is signed by the runemaster Öpir.

Angarnsjöängen (Swedish: Lake Angarn Meadow, also spelt Angarnssjöängen) is a nature reserve circa 3 kilometres (3.0 km; 1.9 mi) northeast of Vallentuna, in Southern Uppland, Sweden. It is a wetland with a varying water level depending on the weather. The water rises dramatically each spring as the snow melts and becomes very low by late summer and autumn, creating a good resting place for wading birds. A wetlands restoration project carried out in 1992 markedly increased both the numbers and the variety of birds visiting the site and nesting there. A total of 250 bird species have been observed there during a year. Among the bird species known to typically nest in the nature reserve are western marsh harrier, northern lapwing, common redshank and western yellow wagtail.The Bronze Age Örstar petroglyphs and Runestone U 211 are both in the immediate vicinity. Angarn Church, dating from the 13th century, also lies close to the nature reserve.

Angarn (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈâŋːɡɑːɳ]) is a former ward in Vallentuna Municipality, Uppland (Stockholm). Since 2006, Angarn has been part of Össeby congregation. In Angarn there are about 450 ancient monuments: cairns and stone circles of Bronze Age type, a remarkable rock carving, burial ground from the older and younger Iron Age and 10 rune stones. The rectangular granite Angarn Church was probably built at the end of the 13th century. The name ("Angarnæ", 1333) is a composition of an ("received") and garn ("elongated formation"), here referring to Angarnsjöängen, formerly a bay against Garnviken (formerly Garn).

Molnby Hoard is a Viking Age deposit of 163 silver coins found in Molnby, Vallentuna Municipality in Sweden in October 2016. Most of the coins come from the area around Samarkand in Central Asia and date from the 10th century. The hoard is one of the largest Viking Age hoards to have been discovered in the province of Uppland.

The Orkesta Runestones are a set of 11th-century runestones engraved in Old Norse with the Younger Futhark alphabet that are located at the church of Orkesta, northeast of Stockholm in Sweden. Several of the stones were raised by, or in memory of, the Swedish Viking Ulf of Borresta, who during the 11th century returned home three times with danegeld. The leaders of the three expeditions were Skagul Toste (Tosti), Thorkell the Tall (Þorketill), and Canute the Great (Knútr). This Ulfr also made the Risbyle Runestones in the same region, and he was mentioned on the lost runestone U 343. There are two other runestones that mention the danegeld and both of them are found in the vicinity: runestones U 241 and U 194.
