Reese, Michigan

Denmark Township is a civil township of Tuscola County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,741 at the 2020 census. Denmark Township was organized in 1853.

The Tuscola Bay wind farm, located in Fairgrove, Michigan and owned by NextEra Energy Partners, was put into operation in 2012. Each of the 75 wind turbines in the farm is 262 feet high, with a blade length of 150 feet. The output of each turbine is 1.6 megawatts, with a total farm output of 120 megawatts.

Blumfield Township is a civil township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 Census, the township population was 1,960.

The Lovira Hart, Jr., and Esther Maria Parker Farm is a historic farmstead located at 9491 West Frankenmuth Road in Tuscola Township, Michigan. It was settled in 1836 and has been continuously owned by the same family since that time. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Frankenmuth Township is a civil township of Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,895 at the 2020 Census. The city of Frankenmuth is located within the survey township area, but the township and city are administrated autonomously.

Frankenmuth School District is a school district headquartered in Frankenmuth, Michigan. It is a part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District and serves the Frankenmuth area. Its schools include the Preschool, List Elementary School, E.F. Rittmueller Middle School, and Frankenmuth High School. In 2013 the Buena Vista School District closed. The Buena Vista property east of airport road was assigned to the Frankenmuth School District. Frankenmuth did not anticipate gaining any additional students because its area is rural. Historically most of the Buena Vista district's students lived closer to the City of Saginaw. In a press release the Frankenmuth district stated "The redistricting is not likely to significantly impact the Frankenmuth District." Frankenmuth ultimately received ten additional students, who had previously lived in the Buena Vista boundary but had attended other school districts as part of the school of choice program. Those students now live in the Frankenmuth district.Since the merger, land in Buena Vista Township east of Airport Road is in the Frankenmuth district. The merger caused the western boundary to move about 2 miles (3.2 km) west.

Frankenmuth ( FRANK-ən-mooth) is a city in Saginaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,987 at the 2020 census. The city is surrounded by Frankenmuth Township. The city's name is a combination of two words. Franken represents the Province of Franconia in the Kingdom of Bavaria from which the original settlers came, and the German word Mut means "courage." Thus, the name Frankenmuth means "courage of the Franconians". The most popular nickname is "Little Bavaria", in reference to the city's German heritage.

Frankenmuth Brewery is a brewery and restaurant in Frankenmuth, Michigan. It is one of the oldest breweries in Michigan. The business closed in 2003 and reopened in 2009.Martin Heubisch and Wilhelm Knaust built a brewery in 1862. John G. Geyer bought it in 1874 and renamed it Geyer Bros. Brewing Co. In 1987 it was purchased out of bankruptcy for $365,000 by Ervin Industries and Ferdinand M. Schumacher, who renamed the business Frankenmuth Brewery, Inc. Randall E. Heine bought majority ownership from Ervin Industries in 1990. Heine sold as many as 13,000 barrels of beer in 25 states before an F3 tornado on June 21, 1996, tore through "Little Bavaria", downtown Frankenmuth. The business was closed for seven years in the aftermath, re-opening in June 2003 with a 300-seat, three-level restaurant. There was also a Frankenmuth Brewing Company.The brewery's products have included Frankenmuth Pilsner, Bock, Dark, Weiss (beer) and Octoberfest.Anmar and Haithem Sarafa purchased and reopened the Frankenmuth Brewery in July 2009.

The Smith House is a private house located at 113-115 Prospect Street in Vassar, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
