Bielefelder Alm

This is a list of seasons played by Arminia Bielefeld in German football, from their first competitive to the most recent completed season. It details the club's achievements in major competitions, and the top scorers for each season. The club was formed on 3 May 1905 as 1. Bielefelder Fußballclub (BFC) Arminia. The Fußballclub Siegfried Bielefeld joined Arminia two years later. On 7 July 1919, Arminia merged with the Bielefelder Turngemeinde 1848 and became known as Turngemeinde Arminia Bielefeld. However, this merger was not successful and had to declare bankruptcy on 20 October 1922. The 1. BFC Arminia was reestablished on 6 November 1922 and was renamed into the current name, Deutscher Sportclub Arminia Bielefeld, on 30 January 1926.

The Rudolf-Oetker-Halle (ROH) is the concert hall of Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was built from 1928 to 1930 after designs by Düsseldorf architects Tietmann & Haake, opened on 31 October 1930. The listed monument is mostly in the original state and has excellent acoustics. The hall has been managed by the Theater Bielefeld from 2018. It is the home of the Bielefelder Philharmoniker.

The 2025 Bielefeld stabbing attack was a violent crime that took place on May 18, 2025, in Bielefeld, Germany, in which five bar patrons were stabbed, some seriously. The crime occurred in the early morning hours in the city center. Due to the suspected Islamist motivation of the suspect, a 35-year-old Syrian according to his papers, the investigation into the case is being led by the Federal Prosecutor's Office.

The Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Bielefeld) is the second largest education institution in Bielefeld. It divides itself into six faculties (Fachbereiche):

Bielefeld Hauptbahnhof is the main station in the region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is an important station because of the size of the city of Bielefeld and its location at the Bielefeld Pass, which makes it a node for long-distance and regional traffic. It was opened in 1847 with the opening of the Cologne-Minden trunk line. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 2 station.

The 6th Infantry Division (6. Infanterie-Division) was a unit of the German Army during World War II.

The Kunsthalle Bielefeld is a modern and contemporary art museum in Bielefeld, Germany. It was designed by Philip Johnson in 1968, and paid for by the businessman and art patron Rudolf August Oetker.

The Botanischer Garten Bielefeld (4 hectares) is a municipal botanical garden located beside the southeast edge of the Teutoburger Wald at Am Kahlenberg 16, Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is open daily without charge. The garden was established in 1912 on one hectare. It was enlarged in 1914–1915 with the installation of the alpine garden containing about 500 different plant species, and in 1925-1927 enlarged again by a further 2.5 hectares to the west for its rhododendron collection. By 1952 it contained about 3000 species. Today the garden contains about 2500 plant varieties. Its highlights include a rhododendron and azalea collection, alpine garden, medicinal and herb garden, heather garden, flora of the Buchenwald region, and a half-timbered house dating from 1823.

The Laborschule Bielefeld ("Laboratory School Bielefeld") is an alternative school located in the city of Bielefeld, Germany. It has received significant media coverage in Germany because it is one of Germany's few "democratic" schools. The Laborschule has been called one of Germany's best schools by the media. One of the German teachers' unions has objected to this.

The Natural History Museum in Bielefeld (German: Naturkunde-Museum Bielefeld) is a natural history museum in the city of Bielefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Since 2003, it was given the additional name namu, which stands for the German words Natur (nature), Mensch (man), and Umwelt (environment). The exhibitions take place in the Spiegelshof, a historical building from the 14th century.

Bankhaus Lampe is an independent, private bank in Germany, founded in 1852 and headquartered in Bielefeld. The head office is in Dusseldorf, and additional offices are located in Germany, London, New York and Vienna. It is wholly owned by Hauck & Aufhäuser and focused on wealth management. The bank owns 50% of Universal Investment.The Bank also offers planning, asset advice and management, finance, private equity, investments, foreign currency, and online banking services.

The Protestant Church of Westphalia (German: Evangelische Kirche von Westfalen, EKvW) is a United Protestant church body in North Rhine-Westphalia. The seat of the praeses (German: Präses, the head of the church) is Bielefeld. The EKvW emerged on 13 June 1945, when the ecclesiastical province of Westphalia within the Lutheran Church of the old-Prussian Union assumed its independence as church body of its own. The EKvW is a full member of the Protestant Church in Germany (EKD), and the Reformed Alliance and is a church whose bases are in a Union between parishes in Lutheran and Calvinistic traditions. The church is also a member of the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe. Präses (president) of the EKvW is Annette Kurschus (2012), as its first female leader.
