Studio City (Macau)

Lotus station (Chinese: 蓮花站; Portuguese: Estação do Lótus) is a station on the Taipa line of the Macau Light Rapid Transit in Cotai, Macau. It is an elevated station located at Estrada Flor de Lótus adjacent to Studio City, near the south end of the Cotai Strip.

Seac Pai Van is an area in Macau, located south of the Cotai Strip and on the northeastern parts of Coloane. Originally a bay that separated Coloane from Taipa, from the late 2000s it was reclaimed from the sea as a part of the combined island of Cotai, mostly to be turned into public housing.

The Macau New Urban Zone (Chinese: 澳門新城區; Portuguese: Novos Aterros Urbanos de Macau) is a 7.3-square-kilometre (79,000,000 sq ft) piece of land currently under land reclamation in Macau, China, that has not yet been assigned to any of the freguesias.

Cotai (Chinese: 路氹城; Cantonese Yale: Louhtáhm Sìhng; Portuguese: Cotai) is a 5.2-square-kilometer (2.0 sq mi) piece of reclaimed land on the top of the Seac Pai Bay between Taipa and Coloane islands in Macau that has connected two independent islands since 2005. The name, which is a portmanteau of Coloane and Taipa, can also refer to the island formed by the reclaimation. In the second sense, the Special Administrative Region of Macau now consists of the Macau Peninsula, plus Cotai Island, about a mile to the south.Cotai was created to provide Macau with a new gambling and tourism area, since Macau is so densely populated and land is scarce. Many hotels and casinos can now be found on the island. In 2006, a new hospital was founded in the Cotai area, the MUST Hospital, which is associated with the Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation.

The Cotai Strip is the central area of Cotai, mostly known for its cluster of resort hotels and casinos. The term was first coined by Las Vegas Sands Corporation regarding its building of a strip of hotel-casinos in the Cotai section of Macau. Cotai was the result of a major land reclamation project which joined the two islands of Coloane and Taipa and forms part of the Macau government's continuous efforts to expand the region's territory. The reclaimed land in Cotai was mainly used for casino developments and Las Vegas Sands Corporation envisioned that their development of several adjacent properties would comprise an area that would resemble the Las Vegas Strip, albeit on a considerably smaller scale.Over the past few decades, the layout of the Cotai Strip has also slowly developed into a grid-like layout with major hotels and casinos such as Galaxy Macau, MGM Cotai, and Wynn Palace, not directly connected to the 'strip' as opposed to Las Vegas Strip where the majority of major hotels and casinos have front access to the strip.

The Parisian Macao (Chinese: 澳門巴黎人) is a casino resort on the Cotai Strip in Cotai, Macau, China owned by Las Vegas Sands, which features a half-scale Eiffel Tower as one its landmarks. It was originally expected to be operational in late 2015, with that later changed to August 2016. The hotel officially opened on 13 September 2016.

Union Hospital station（Chinese: 協和醫院站, Portuguese: Estação Hospital Union）is the interchange station for the Taipa Line and the Seac Pai Van Line of the Macau LRT, and also the terminal station for the Seac Pai Van Line. It is located between the Rotunda Flor de Lótus in Cotai and Estrada do Istmo, connecting to the Macau Union Hospital. This station is an elevated station, with pathways for transferring between the Taipa Line and the Seac Pai Van Line.

Caesars Golf Macau (Chinese: 澳門凱撒高爾夫) is a golf course in Cotai, Macau, China . Formerly known as the Orient Golf (Macau) Club, Harrah's Entertainment (later Caesars Entertainment) purchased the 175-acre (71 ha) property during the casino boom in 2007. Harrah's later renamed it Caesars Golf. In 2013, Caesars sold the golf course to Pearl Dynasty Investments for $438 million.

The Londoner Macao (Chinese: 澳門倫敦人) is a casino and resort on the Cotai Strip, in Macau. On August 5th, 2011, Sands China announced that the $4 billion property, long referred to as parcels five and six, would be officially named Sands Cotai Central (Chinese: 金沙城中心). The first portion of the resort opened on April11th, 2012. The resort was rebranded as The Londoner Macao in 2021. The resort's redesign was completed in May 2023.

The Cotai Arena is an indoor arena located on the premises of The Venetian Macao, on the Cotai Strip, in Macau, China. It opened in 2007 with a seating capacity of 15,000. The arena was known as Venetian Arena from 2007 to 2010, when it was renamed as CotaiArena. It hosts sporting events such as basketball, tennis and boxing, as well as concerts and internationally-televised awards shows.

Zaia was a Cirque du Soleil stage production based at The Venetian Macao on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 90-minute show opened in August 2008, bringing together 75 high-calibre artists from around the world. Zaia was Cirque du Soleil's first resident show in Asia and was directed by Neilson Vignola and Gilles Maheu. The custom-built theater housing the performance was capable of seating 1,800 spectators at a time.Zaia presented a young girl's dream of journeying into space, discovering worlds populated by a panoply of otherworldly creatures. The title, Zaia, came from a Greek name meaning "life".Due in part to the global financial crisis at the end of 2008 that contributed to low attendance, the show closed on 19 February 2012. Despite its closing, Venetian Macao resort owner Las Vegas Sands Corp. claimed, "Using Las Vegas as a benchmark, Zaia’s 3 1/2-year run should be deemed successful and provide strong support for the argument that the future of entertainment in Macau is on the right track."

The Venetian Macao (Chinese: 澳門威尼斯人, Portuguese: Macau Veneziano) is a hotel and casino resort in Macau, China owned by the American Las Vegas Sands company. The 39-story structure on Macau's Cotai Strip has 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m2) of floor space, and is modeled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas. It is the second-largest casino in the world, the largest single structure hotel in Asia, and the tenth-largest building in the world by floor area. The main hotel tower was finished in July 2007, and the resort officially opened on 28 August 2007. It has 3,000 suites, 1,200,000 sq ft (110,000 m2) of convention space, 1,600,000 sq ft (150,000 m2) of retail space, and 550,000 square feet (51,000 m2) of casino space (with 3,400 slot machines, 800 gambling tables), and the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena for entertainment and sports events. Its lead architects were Aedas and HKS, Inc., who were responsible for its design, coordination and implementation.
