Sheffield Park Academy is a high performing 11–18 secondary school in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, with almost 1,200 pupils, including 150 in a dedicated Sixth Form. The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools whose motto is 'the best in everyone'. It opened in 2006 on the site of the predecessor school, Waltheof, moving into a £30 million, purpose-built facility in 2008. Since then, the academy's sustained academic success has seen it placed in the top 5% of schools in the country according to the Progress 8 measure. This is the government's new measure that records pupil progress from the end of the primary school to the end of secondary school.

The City Road Cemetery is a cemetery in the City of Sheffield, England that opened in May 1881 and was originally Intake Road Cemetery. Covering 100 acres (40 ha) it is the largest and is the head office for all the municipally owned cemeteries in Sheffield. The cemetery contains Sheffield Crematorium, whose first cremation was on 24 April 1905.

Darnall DMU Depot was a traction maintenance depot in Darnall, Sheffield, England. It was built by the London and North Eastern Railway to serve the Sheffield area, passenger trains originating or changing at Sheffield Victoria and goods and pilot workings. The shed was built adjacent to the main line immediately west of Darnall station. British Railways initially allocated the shed code 39B to Darnall, and later 41A, both within the Eastern Region code sequence.

The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools whose motto is "the best in everyone". It opened in September 2006 on the site of the predecessor school, moving into a £30 million, purpose-built facility in 2008. Over the past three years, the academy has emerged from an Ofsted category. The most recent Ofsted inspection judged the school as a good provider and agreed that the school has benefited directly from a secure, highly experienced senior leadership team alongside the support of United Learning. As part of this, the school has innovated its curriculum offer, as well as improving areas such as pupils' transition from primary to secondary. For instance, its "Early Risers" initiative, run in conjunction with Sheffield Park Academy, has set a trail for other schools to follow.

Intake is a suburb and former village located 5 miles (8 km) south-east of Sheffield city centre, South Yorkshire, England. Due to expansion during the 20th century, the village became a part of the city of Sheffield. Intake is linked to Frecheville via Birley Moor Road, and to Gleadless via Hollinsend Road.
