Griffintown

Bank of Montreal National Historic Site is an historic former bank branch in Montreal. Built in 1894 in sandstone on the corners of rue Notre Dame Ouest and rue des Seigneurs, this building was named a National Historic Site of Canada in 1990 because: the building is a particularly good example of the Queen Anne Revival style, as expressed in commercial architecture... Built for the bank of the same name, the Bank of Montréal building is a rare surviving example of the Queen Anne Revival style applied to a commercial building. Its use of Flemish motifs in imitation of a Flemish public building is typical of the style. The building is now home to Martha Franco Architecture and Design.

École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is a public engineering faculty in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1974, the École de technologie supérieure is a constituent of Université du Québec system. Specialized in applied teaching in engineering and technology transfer to companies, where professors, engineers and researchers who are recognized for their practical, industrial and innovative approaches. In any given year, 25% of all engineers receiving a diploma from an engineering school or faculty in the province of Quebec graduate from the ÉTS. Hence, it is ranked first in Quebec and second in Canada for the total number of engineering diplomas awarded annually.

Sainte-Anne was a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of Montréal–Sainte-Anne, Montréal–Saint-Henri and Montréal–Saint-Louis electoral districts. Its final election was in 1989. It disappeared in the 1994 election and its successor electoral district was Saint-Henri–Sainte-Anne. It was named for the former ward of Sainte-Anne or St. Ann, encompassing Griffintown and the eastern part of Pointe-Saint-Charles, referring to the parish of St. Ann's Church in Griffintown.

Opened on March 16, 1996, it is the home arena of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL), replacing the Montreal Forum. It is owned by the Molson family via the team's ownership group Groupe CH, and managed via Groupe CH subsidiary Evenko.With a capacity of 21,105 in its hockey configuration, Bell Centre is the largest ice hockey arena in the world. Alongside hockey, Bell Centre has hosted major concerts, and occasional mixed martial arts and professional wrestling events. Since it opened in 1996, it has consistently been listed as one of the world's busiest arenas, usually receiving the highest attendance of any arena in Canada. In 2012, it was the fifth-busiest arena in the world based on ticket sales for non-sporting events.
