Unity Christian Music Festival (Unity) is a four-day Christian music festival held annually during the month of August at Heritage Landing in Muskegon, Michigan.Unity was started in 2001 to bring Christians together for public praise, worship and fellowship; to provide a wholesome, family valued entertainment alternative and to raise funds and recruit volunteers for area Christian ministries. The Festival is presented by Alive on the Lakeshore, an all volunteer group of local Christians who want to present wholesome, Christ centered, family valued entertainment options in West Michigan. Each year, 700 volunteers are part of the festival. The festival is a member of the Christian Festival Association.Average per day attendance ranges from 9,000 on Thursday to over 20,000 on Saturday. Artists who have played at Unity include Relient K, Hawk Nelson, Anointed, Steven Curtis Chapman, Geoff Moore, Petra, Chris Rice, Phil Keaggy, Mark Schultz, Jars of Clay, tobyMac, The Newsboys, 4th Point, Chris Tomlin and Michael W. Smith. In the past, Unity's parent organization Alive on the Lakeshore presented a smaller festival called Rock the Coast at Michigan's Adventure amusement park.The 20th festival was deferred to 2021 as officials blamed the COVID-19 pandemic as grounds for 2020's cancellation.

The Muskegon YMCA Building is a YMCA building located at 297 West Clay Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It has been renovated, and currently houses 297 Clay Condominiums.

The Muskegon Central Fire Station is a building originally constructed to house a fire station, located at 75 W. Walton Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The building has been renovated into office space, and is known as the Firehouse Professional Building.

The Hackley Library is a historic library in Muskegon, Michigan. It was a gift to the school board from lumber baron Charles Hackley to the City of Muskegon Public Schools and opened in 1890. It is listed on the Michigan Register of Historic Places. The library is at 316 West Webster Avenue. The library also owns the historic Torrent House across the street where genealogy records are housed. The Library is supported by the Friends of the Hackley Public Library.The Hackley Administration Building is nearby at 349 Webster Avenue and is also named for Hackley. It is owned by Muskegon Public Schools. It was built in 1889 and efforts are underway to preserve it.

Muskegon Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in downtown Muskegon, Michigan. Opened in 1976, it closed in 2001 and was torn down for redevelopment.

The Horatio N. Hovey House is a private house located at 318 Houston Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Hackley Park is a municipal park in Muskegon, Michigan. In 1890, it was built on land donated by Charles H. Hackley to honor the memory of soldiers who fought in the Civil War. It is bounded by Clay & Webster, and Third & Fourth in the Muskegon Historic District near Muskegon Lake.

The Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts is located in downtown Muskegon in the U.S. state of Michigan. It consists of the Frauenthal Theater, formerly the Michigan Theater, and additional performance, exhibition, and support spaces in the Hilt Building. The Frauenthal Theater opened as the Michigan Theater in 1930 and was one of 17 theaters in downtown Muskegon. Today, it serves as a cultural center for Muskegon, under the management of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.

The Muskegon Historic District is a public and residential historic district in Muskegon, Michigan, consisting of the four blocks between Clay Avenue, Webster Avenue, Second Street, and Sixth Street, and the two blocks between Webster Avenue, Muskegon Avenue, Second Street and Fourth Street. The district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Trinity Health Arena is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Muskegon, Michigan, United States. It was built in 1960 in partnership with philanthropist and industrialist Louis Carlisle Walker at a cost of $2 million, and on October 27, 1960, was formally gifted to the City of Muskegon. Mr. Walker provided $1 million and the City provided $1 million toward the cost. It is currently home to the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League, Muskegon Risers SC of Major Arena Soccer League 2, and the West Michigan Ironmen indoor football team. The Arena will change its name to Trinity Health Arena after a corporate decision to rename Mercy Health facilities Trinity Health.The arena was built on a site of a former supermarket, and in addition to sports is also used for concerts, trade shows, conventions and other events. The arena measures 39 feet (12 m) from the arena floor to the ceiling. The arena contains 17,000 square feet (1,600 m2) of arena floor space, and can seat up to 4,000 for basketball, up to 4,500 for concerts, and 3,500 for ice shows and wrestling. The Arena has gone through several renovations, with the most recent occurring in 2018. The renovation included removing seats from the arena, which once had more than 6,000 seats. The most recent renovation includes the addition of Rad Dads restaurant on the building's east side. A new restaurant will be developed on the western side of the arena facing Western Avenue called Carlisle's. Carlisle's will offer high end stadium food in a sports-themed atmosphere. A portion of a former Plumb's grocery store, built in 1936, was actually incorporated into the Arena; it was known as the LC Walker Arena annex, used for conventions, banquets, meetings and other special events. Now, the area is used by Peak Performance, an athletic training and rehabilitation center.

The Amazon Hosiery Mill, also known as the Amazon Knitting Mill, is a former industrial building located at 530-550 West Western Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It now houses the Amazon Apartments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Union Depot is a railway station located at 610 Western Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is now the Muskegon County Convention & Visitor's Bureau.
