Armada, Michigan

Often referred to as MA2S, the Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences in Armada, Macomb County, Michigan is a school for gifted students. Although it is in the Armada Area School District, it is not limited to students enrolled in the district's schools. The current student body also includes students from the Capac, East China, Imlay City, Memphis, Richmond, Romeo and New Haven districts. All courses are taught at the Honors level; some are offered at the AP level. In 2005, a science teacher at the school was one of three finalists for the Shell Science Teaching Award of the National Science Teachers Association. The school is home to FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1718, The Fighting Pi. Founded in 2006, it qualified for the FIRST Championship in 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. It has won eight consecutive district Chairman's Awards, two State of Michigan Engineering Inspiration Awards, and three State Entrepreneurship Awards; and in 2016, it won its first ever Michigan FRC State Championship title (FIRST Stronghold). In 2017, it also won a State Gracious Professionalism Award and a State Chairman's Award. In January 2012 it won in the community outreach category for the Detroit Free Press Automotive Leadership Awards.

Armada Area Schools is a public school district located in Armada, Michigan, United States. The district consists of five schools, Orville C. Krause Early Elementary School, Orville C. Krause Late Elementary School, Armada Middle School, Armada High School, and the Macomb Academy of Arts & Science. The district is led by superintendent Michael G. Musary. The administration office is located on Burk Street in Armada.

Armada Township is a civil township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 5,336. The village of Armada is located within the township. Armada Township was organized in 1832.

Richmond Township is a civil township of Macomb County, Michigan, United States. At the 2020 census, the township population was 3,544, Which makes Richmond Township the least populated township in Macomb County. A portion of the city of Richmond is adjacent to the township, but is administratively autonomous.

The Wolcott Mill is a grist and feed mill located in Ray Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Wolcott Mill Metropark is a Huron-Clinton Metropark located in rural Ray Township, Michigan. The northern branch of the Clinton River is a fixture of the park as it bisects the entirety of the park.

Ray Township is a civil township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 3,780, which makes Ray Township the least populated township in Macomb County. Wolcott Mill Metropark, a 2,625 acres (10.62 km2) park is located entirely within the township. The park is home to the Wolcott Mill, built in 1847.

Berlin Township is a civil township of St. Clair County in the U.S. state of Michigan. At the 2020 census, the township population was 3,115.

Romeo State Airport (FAA LID: D98) is a public airport owned and operated by the State of Michigan located 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Romeo, Michigan, United States. The airport is uncontrolled and is used for general aviation purposes. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local reliever airport facility.

Ray Community Airport (FAA LID: 57D) is a privately owned, public use airport located in Ray Township, Macomb County. Michigan. The airport sits on 93 acres of land at an elevation of 632 feet.The airport is a regular home for events hosted by the experimental aircraft association. The local has been operating at Ray Community Airport for nearly 70 years as of 2023. Of special note are the numerous EAA Young Eagles events at the airport.

The Masters Road–Belle River Bridge is a bridge carrying Masters Road over the Belle River in Riley Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

W.C. Wetzel State Recreation Area is an undeveloped 900-acre (360 ha) recreation area, located in Macomb County, Michigan.
