Kingsley High School (KHS) is a public high school in Kingsley, Michigan. KHS is the sole high school in the Kingsley Area School District, which serves southern Grand Traverse County. As of 2023, the school's principal is Chris Rapes. The current building was built in 2001.

Paradise Township is a civil township in the south of Grand Traverse County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,952 at the 2020 census, an increase from 4,713 at the 2010 census. Paradise Township is home to the village of Kingsley.

It is located in Paradise Township between Kingsley and Traverse City along South Garfield Road (County Road 611). As an unincorporated community, Mayfield has no legally defined boundaries or population statistics of its own.

This trail will be part of a future loop around Grand Traverse County connecting with the VASA trail, Boardman Lake Trail and North County Trail. Currently the segment between Mayfield, MI and North Country Trail is one of the 24 mile trail segments done. However segment 2 which is Mayfield, MI to Bietner Rd. will take some time while preliminary work is beginning to identify property and trail routes. Section III from S. Airport Road to Beitner Rd is next to construct in 2015 followed by Section II between Beitner Road to Mayfield.

Arbutus Lake ( ar-BYOO-təs) is a lake in Grand Traverse County, Michigan.YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha is located on the northeastern shore of the lake, and some of its common activities, such as rowing, fishing, and others on the lake. The lake is composed of five smaller lakes, numbered Lakes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, ordered from south to north. Arbutus Lake, as well as the other Forest Lakes, is a part of the Boardman River watershed.

Spider Lake is a 450-acre (180 ha) “all-sports” lake located about twenty minutes southeast of Downtown Traverse City in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. It is part of the Boardman River watershed. Spider Lake teems with bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and crappie contained within 29 miles (47 km) of shoreline. There are several vacation rentals and small resorts all around the lake as well as jet-ski rentals and many other water sports.

Pugsley Correctional Facility (MPF) is a Michigan minimum security prison operated by the Michigan Department of Corrections Correctional Facilities Administration (CFA), located between Kingsley, Michigan and Fife Lake 25 miles (40 km) southeast of Traverse City in Grand Traverse County.Pugsley Correctional Facility sits on 180 acres (0.73 km2); within that area, 23 acres (93,000 m2) are enclosed by two 15.5-foot-high (4.7 m) fences to create a secure perimeter that houses 1,342 adult male prisoners. The facility has minimum security prisoner public works and gate pass assignments.A security vehicle patrols the property manned by an armed Corrections Officer twenty-four hours per day. In May 2016, Michigan Department of Corrections announced Pugsley would close in September of the same year as a result of declining prison population within the state.

East Bay Charter Township is a charter township of Grand Traverse County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 10,663 at the 2010 census, up from 9,919 at the 2000 Census. The northern portion of the township is adjacent to Traverse City and is part of that city's urban area. The southern portion remains largely rural, with many small lakes.
