Peabody City Hall is the historic city hall of Peabody, Massachusetts. It is located at 24 Lowell Street, near Peabody Square.

The Peabody Central Fire Station is a historic fire station at 41 Lowell Street in Peabody, Massachusetts, United States. Built in 1873, the two story brick building is one of the oldest active fire stations in the state. The building has Victorian styling, with a mansard roof, and two truncated gables on its front facade. The cornice is studded with regularly spaced brackets, and a tower rises from the building's rear right corner.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The St. John's School fire was a deadly fire that occurred on the morning of October 28, 1915, at the St. John's School on Chestnut Street in the downtown area of Peabody, Massachusetts. Twenty-one girls between the ages of 6 and 17 were burned or crushed to death while attempting to escape the fire.

The Peabody Civic Center Historic District encompasses a well-preserved portion of the historic center of Peabody, Massachusetts. Extending along Chestnut and Franklin Streets south of Peabody City Hall, the district includes a small residential area built in the mid-19th century, as well as the city hall and St. JOhn the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, two monumental structures defining the town's civic heart. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Second O'Shea Building is a historic commercial building at 9-13 Peabody Square in Peabody, Massachusetts. It is one of two similar buildings (see O'Shea Building for the other) built by Thomas O'Shea, a local leathermaker, in the 1900s. The three story brick and sandstone Colonial Revival building occupies a prominent position in Peabody Square, the city's central intersection. Similarities to the earlier building include the arched entrances and window bays, and the brick pilasters (with limestone bases and capitals) between some of the window bays.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. In 2017, the building was sold at auction for $1.47 million. The building is currently under renovation by local developer Pat Todisco and will include 29 residential units, as well as restaurants on the ground floor.

The O'Shea Building is a historic commercial building located at 7–15 Main Street in Peabody, Massachusetts. Built in 1904 by Thomas O'Shea, one of the city's leading businessmen at the time, it is a well-preserved example of commercial Renaissance revival architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The First Unitarian Church is a historic church in Peabody, Massachusetts. The wood-frame church was built in 1826, when the area was known as South Danvers. The front facade has a projecting rounded entrance hall decorated with pilasters and a heavily bracketed cornice. The main part of the facade also has pilasters rising to a pedimented gable that has large-scale dentil molding. The side walls have six lancet-style windows. The tower, which lacks a steeple, has quoined corners, and molding on the cornice of its roofline that matches that of the main roof.The church building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It has been converted to condominiums.

The Hickey—Osborne Block is a historic commercial-residential building in Peabody, Massachusetts. It is a distinctive repurposing of three residential structures, dating as far back as 1797, by raising them and building brick commercial ground floors beneath them. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Sutton Block is a historic commercial building in Peabody, Massachusetts. Built in 1859, this three story brick building is the only Italianate commercial building in Peabody. It was built by Ebenezer Sutton, a local textile manufacturer. The building originally had a steeply pitched roof, but this was removed sometime after 1877. Its first floor facade may also have been compromised by retail-related alterations, but original details may survive under the current finish. The building was designed to house retail spaces on the ground floor, offices on the second floor, and a social venue (at first the Knights of Pythias) on the third floor.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Peabody Institute Library is the public library serving Peabody, Massachusetts. It was established in 1852 by a bequest from philanthropist and Peabody native George Peabody, and now has its main facility at 82 Main Street, with the South Branch at 78 Lynn Street and West Branch at 603 Lowell Street. The main library is housed in a two-story brick building built in 1853 which is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The library is claimed to be the oldest public library in the United States to operate continuously from the same location.

The Moore–Hill House is a historic house in Peabody, Massachusetts. It is an excellent example of a Gothic Victorian house, built in 1874 for W. H. Hill. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame building has a cross gable roof line, with the main roof line running crosswise. The front cornice, including the central front gable section, is decorated with paired brackets (a typical Italianate decoration), and the front windows have decorative surrounds. The front door is centrally located and sheltered by an ornate entablature, above which is a round-arched window.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Gen. Gideon Foster House is a historic house in Peabody, Massachusetts. The two story Federal style wood-frame house was built in the early 1800s at a location on Main Street. The house was bought in 1815 by Gideon Foster, a local veteran of the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. The house was later owned by Eben Sutton, a local textile manufacturer, who sold the house so that it could be moved to make way for a larger house on the same lot.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, and included in the Washington Street Historic District in 1985. It is the current home of the Peabody Historical Society, which acquired the property in 1916.
