Frankford is a neighborhood in northeast Baltimore. Frankford is the most populous of the city's designated neighborhoods, with over 17,000 residents.

Dr. Samuel L. Banks High School was a public secondary school in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was part of the small schools initiative in order to consolidate larger schools into smaller learning environments.

Greater Grace World Outreach (GGWO) is a nondenominational evangelical Christian church that emphasizes grace, the finished work, and missions. The headquarters of Greater Grace World Outreach is currently located at its megachurch (locally named Greater Grace Church Baltimore) in Baltimore, Maryland. The church has a weekly attendance of 1500+. GGWO was founded by Carl H. Stevens Jr. who was succeeded by Pastor Thomas Schaller as Presiding Elder and Overseeing Pastor of Greater Grace World Outreach in Baltimore in April 2005. GGWO has been investigated by multiple organizations for cult-like practices including spiritual abuse by leadership. The church is thriving and has over 500 churches throughout the world. Most of these churches are located in North America, Europe and Africa, with larger congregations in Hungary, Azerbaijan and Ghana. Most of the pastors attended affiliated Maryland Bible College & Seminary in Baltimore, however there are many other affiliated Bible colleges around the world. The ministries of Greater Grace also include the radio program Grace Hour, Greater Grace Christian Academy, Christian Sports Clubs, along with other internal ministries.

Maryland Bible College & Seminary, founded in 1988, is a Bible college in Baltimore, Maryland. It is a successor to Stevens School of the Bible. The college is affiliated with Greater Grace World Outreach and was founded by Carl H. Stevens Jr.

Rosedale is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The population was 19,257 at the 2010 United States Census.

The Herring Run is an 11.1-mile-long (17.9 km) tributary of the Back River located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Waltherson is a neighborhood located in Northeast Baltimore, Maryland, United States that runs between Harford Road to Belair Road and from Hamilton Ave in the north and Southern Ave in the south. It was later expanded to include the neighborhood of Wilson Heights extending its boundaries along Belair Road to Moravia Road to achieve the boundaries currently seen on Baltimore City's CityView page.Those living along the Harford Road side of the neighborhood will often refer to the area as part of the more well known names of Hamilton, Baltimore based on the business district that historically extended along Waltherson's western boundary. More recently the older name of Lauraville, Baltimore has been used due to their participation in and as a result of the branding and marketing efforts of the now defunct Neighborhoods of Greater Lauraville, Healthy Neighborhoods, and later Hamilton-Lauraville Mainstreet. Healthy Neighborhoods refers to homes in Waltherson as part of Greater Lauraville on their website.The eastern parts of Waltherson along Belair Road (and the adjacent Frankford, Baltimore) are often called Gardenville, a historic name for that area. The name Gardenville can still be seen in the names of the shopping center at Frankford Ave and Belair Road, the Gardenville Belair Road Business Association, and the adjacent Gardenville Elementary School.

Pulaski Industrial Area is a neighborhood in northeast Baltimore, Maryland.

Chrissy Lee Polis is a transgender woman who was beaten on April 18, 2011, at a McDonald's in Rosedale, Maryland, just northeast of the city limits of Baltimore. A video of the beating was posted online and went viral. The attack had been conducted by teenage girls, aged 14 and 19. They were both prosecuted. The case heightened awareness of violence against transgender people in Maryland and protests were conducted. A state law that had protections for transgender people failed to pass shortly before the attack. Gov. Martin O'Malley said he intended to work with the legislature on a bill to provide more protections for transgender people. In addition, Howard County passed a county law protecting transgender people within its boundaries.

Overlea High School (OHS) is a four-year public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The school was opened in 1961.
