The Basilica Cathedral of St. Cecilia (Basilique-Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile in French) is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and a cathedral dedicated to St. Cecilia located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada. The basilica is under the circumscription of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Valleyfield. The basilica was decreed on February 9, 1991.

Salaberry-de-Valleyfield is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada, in the Regional County Municipality of Beauharnois-Salaberry. The population as of 2019 was 42,410. Situated on Grande-Île, an island in the Saint Lawrence River, it is bordered at its western end by Lake Saint Francis, with the Saint Lawrence to the north and the Beauharnois Canal to its south. The Port of Valleyfield is on the canal. The historic downtown is a major touristic centre for the area. Due to the presence of Lake St. Francis (St. Lawrence River), St. Francis Bay in downtown, and of numerous rivers and canals all over the town, the city is nicknamed "The Venice of Quebec".

Coteau-du-Lac Canal is an 18th-century military canal in Canada located at the junction of the Delisle and Saint Lawrence Rivers in Quebec. The canal was the first work of its kind in North America, and is a National Historic Site of Canada, which also includes the remains of a fort and reconstructed blockhouse. It is located in the town of Coteau-du-Lac in Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional County Municipality.

Grande-Île is an island in the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. The island is mostly occupied by the city Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Part of the Hochelaga Archipelago, the island connects the Beauharnois-Salaberry and the Vaudreuil-Soulanges regions over the Saint Lawrence River via the Pont Monseigneur Langlois. Grande-Île was also the name of a municipality on the island which merged with Salaberry-de-Valleyfield on January 1, 2002.

The name of the town comes from the French word Coteau which meant "slope" and from its location on the north shore of Lake Saint Francis. The National Historic Site of Canada of the Coteau-du-Lac canal is the location of the first canal lock system in North America. The city has an industrial park. The population was 7,044 as of the 2016 Canadian Census.

The Saint Charles River (French: Rivière Saint-Charles) is a branch of the Saint Lawrence River that starts in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada. The river divides the Grande-Île and the Island of Salaberry, which are located approximately 50 km east of Montreal. The river is 8 km long, and drops 24m over its course from Lake Saint Francis east to Lake Saint-Louis.

CKOD-FM is a French language Canadian radio station located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, approximately 50 kilometres (30 miles) southwest of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The station is owned by Torres Media, a company that owns two other radio stations namely, CIUX 105.5 Hits FM in Uxbridge, Ontario and CIDG Rebel 101.7, in Ottawa. The station broadcasts on 103.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 3,000 watts (class A) using an omnidirectional antenna. The station was acquired from Radio Express by Torres Media Valleyfield in 2015.The station music is a contemporary hits format and is branded as 103.1 MAX FM. The announcer line-up features Yves Trottier and Mylene Lepage in the morning, afternoon host Elise Deschenes and evening host Carl Colin. Former NHL star Yvon Lambert provides regular sports analysis Known as CFLV until 1991, the station was on the AM band 1370 kHz from 1961 to 1994, at which point the station moved to FM band on 102.9 MHz. However, strong interference by CITE-FM-1 in Sherbrooke, which broadcasts on the neighbouring frequency of 102.7 MHz from Mount Orford (approximately 170 kilometres, 105 miles east) forced a change to the current 103.1 MHz very shortly after the initial move to FM.

Les Coteaux is a municipality in Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional County Municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada. It is located north of the Saint Lawrence River and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. It was formed from the merger in 1994 of Coteau-Station (north of Autoroute 20) and Coteau-Landing (south of Autoroute 20). Prior to 1985, Coteau-Station had been known as Station-du-Coteau.

Coteau station is located on Daoust Street in the town of Les Coteaux, Quebec, Canada. It is an optional stop on the Via Rail Ottawa-Montreal Corridor line. The station is unmanned and is wheelchair-accessible.
