Alfred Dock

Central Hydraulic Tower is a Grade II listed building situated in Birkenhead, England. It was designed by J. B. Hartley to provide the necessary power to move the bridges and lock gates art the adjacent Birkenhead Docks. The building design was based on the Palazzo Vecchio town hall situated in the Piazza della Signoria, Florence, Italy. Currently disused, the building is planned to be used as a martine knowledge hub as part of the Wirral Waters development scheme.

The Wallasey Dock, was a dock at Birkenhead, Wirral Peninsula, England. The dock was accessed via East Float to the west, until Wallasey Dock was filled at the turn of the millennium.

Egerton Dock is a dock at Birkenhead, in England. The dock is situated between East Float and Morpeth Dock, within Birkenhead's dock system.

St Paul's Church is an active Anglican parish church in Church Crescent, Seacombe, Wallasey, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It belongs to the deanery of Wallasey, the archdeaconry of Chester and the diocese of Chester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Eureka! Mersey is a future tourist attraction in Seacombe, Wallasey, Merseyside, North West England. Set to open in 2022, the attraction's main topic of interest is educational learning through play. Suited to visitors aged 0–11. The planned building to be used for the attraction was previously Spaceport and was opened on 26 July 2005 by Merseytravel Chairman Mark Dowd. The previous attraction was based around learning about Space through interactive exhibits. A visit to the centre took about two hours, which included half an hour spent in the Spacedome planetarium. This section of the attraction was on the ground floor at the back of the building. Visitors to Spaceport could also take a River Explorer Cruise on a Mersey Ferry.In July 2019 Merseytravel announced that spaceport was to close, due to a decline in visitor numbers and the attraction becoming too costly to run following government funding cuts. It was announced that the building would become another attraction, the £6m "Eureka! Mersey" museum. Merseytravel will still own the building, and a new company would operate the museum.

Seacombe railway station was located in Wallasey, Wirral, England. The station was opened by the Wirral Railway in 1895 and closed in 1963.

Morpeth Dock Goods was a goods terminus in Birkenhead, England. The station was situated adjacent to Morpeth Dock, on the Birkenhead Dock Branch railway line. The station was opened in 1868–69, and closed in 1972.

Cathcart Street Goods was a goods terminus in Birkenhead, England. Originally known as Bridge End, the station was situated adjacent to the East Float, on the Birkenhead Dock Branch railway line. The station was opened in 1856, and closed in 1961.

Wirral Transport Museum is a museum situated approximately 0.5 miles (800 m) from the Mersey Ferry service at Woodside, Birkenhead, England. A vintage tram service links the museum and the ferry at certain times. Admission into the museum is free with a broad selection of vintage and classic vehicles, including trams, buses, cars, motorcycles, mopeds, bikes, and a fire engine. It also includes views of ongoing projects in the museum's workshops, a 26 feet long model railway layout, a reconstructed 1930s garage scene and various other transport-related static exhibits.

Peerless Brewing Company is an independent microbrewery based in Birkenhead on the Wirral Peninsula, producing cask brewed beers by combining traditional techniques and fine ingredients with a modern tang.The stainless-steel brew-plant is capable of brewing both ales and lagers. The Brewery brew about 3000 pints per batch. A gas-fired boiler provides the super-heated steam for the brewing process. The fermentation and conditioning tanks are all individually temperature controlled. In early 2011 funding support from Wirral Council and help from Barclays Bank and the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) provided £25,000 of capital which was invested in 220 new ale casks and cask washing equipment to support its production capacity and allow it to break into the national wholesale market.

The Mersey Tunnels connect the city of Liverpool with Wirral, under the River Mersey. There are three tunnels: the Mersey Railway Tunnel (opened 1886), and two road tunnels, the Queensway Tunnel (opened 1934) and the Kingsway Tunnel (opened 1971). The railway tunnel and Queensway Tunnel connect central Liverpool with Birkenhead, while the Kingsway Tunnel runs to Wallasey. The road tunnels are owned and operated by Merseytravel, and have their own police force, the Mersey Tunnels Police. In 1967 it was announced that the "Mersey Tunnel Scheme" was now operational. The scheme comprised what was claimed to be the largest closed circuit television system for traffic control outside North America, and featured a bank of 22 CRT monitors.The Queensway Tunnel was used to film scenes for the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010). This provided Claire House children's hospice in Wirral with a £20,000 windfall, the money being paid to Merseytravel by Warner Brothers, the makers of the film, for use of the Tunnel as a location.In November 2012 scenes for the film Fast & Furious 6 (2013) were filmed in the Queensway Tunnel.
