Fivay was a settlement in Florida, midway between present-day Land O’ Lakes and Hudson.Fivay existed as a company town for a lumber mill for less than a decade, and it started out being known as Five A’s. Its designation came from the owners of the sawmill, whose names all started with “A.” Martin Amorous, Preston Arkwright, Henry Atkinson, Gordon Abbott, and Charles Ayer.

Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park is a Florida state park located in Pasco County, Florida near Port Richey, Florida, along the Gulf of Mexico on the Atlantic coastal plain. An entrance to this park is at the intersection of Scenic Drive and Cinema Drive, one mile west of the intersection of Cinema Drive/Ridge Manor Blvd. and U.S. Highway 19. The park is named, in part, for a 320 feet deep saltwater spring in the park, which is not yet easily accessible. The park includes four miles of Pasco County's coastal waters on the Gulf of Mexico. Activities include picnicking, boating, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The park's wildlife include gray foxes, gopher tortoises, alligators, and West Indian manatees, as well as about 150 species of bird. Among the park's birds are raptors, wading birds, shore birds, and migratory song birds. The park includes a half mile nature trail, a picnic pavilion, and an informational kiosk. Visitors can explore the park's waterways by boat, but there is no boat ramp as yet. The park is new, and planned additions include hiking trails, primitive camping, group camping, picnicking and marked canoe/kayak trails. The park was named by Robert Pullen and CJ Bennett in a contest when the two were classmates at Hudson Elementary School. The park is open from 8:00 am till sundown year round.

Aripeka Sandhills Preserve is a protected area of 209 acres (85 ha) west of US 19 near Aripeka and Hudson, Florida. It is managed by the Southwest Florida Water Management District and was purchased on November 8, 2007, as part of the 7,136-acre (2,888 ha) Weeki Wachee Preserve (now more than 11,200 acres (4,500 ha)). It is part of a group of conservation lands extending north to the Crystal River Buffer Preserve (now a Florida State Park), helping preserve the southernmost coastal hardwood hammock in western Florida. The preserve includes dense hardwood swamps and piney sandhills. It is located at 18000 Aripeka Road.

Gulf View Square Mall is an enclosed mall in Port Richey, Florida. Opened in 1980, it is anchored by Best Buy & Dillard's Clearance Store and is owned by Namdar Realty Group. The mall has not been in great shape in recent years. There have been plans to demolish the mall, but the mall is trying to find other ways to make money.

Wendell Krinn Technical High School is a four-year public technical high school in New Port Richey, Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico. It is part of the Pasco County Public School System in Pasco County, Florida. The school opened on August 13, 2018, using the campus of the old Ridgewood High School, which closed in May, 2018. It is named for the first principal of Ridgewood High School. The school will operate as a magnet school, drawing students from throughout Pasco County. They may earn college credits and have career training while obtaining their high school diploma. Specialized courses will include cyber security and BioMedical.

Ridgewood High School was a four-year public high school serving residential suburbs in New Port Richey, Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, part of the Pasco County Public School System in Pasco County, Florida. The school was founded on August 22, 1978, as a junior high school with the intent of becoming the third high school in western Pasco County. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,133 students and 73.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.5:1. There were 787 students (69.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 98 (8.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school closed at the end of the 2017–18 school year for conversion to Wendell Krinn Technical High School, a technical high school named after Ridgewood's first principal, Wendell Krinn. The school's closing ceremony took place on May 22, 2018, and was attended by faculty and alumni. The Tampa Bay Times wrote, "The community is losing its traditional high school, with sports teams and bands and the spirit that comes with sending generations to it."
