Totalán is a village and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It is located in the comarca of La Axarquía. The municipality is situated approximately 22 kilometres from the provincial capital of Málaga and 13 from Rincón de la Victoria. It has a population of approximately 650 residents. The natives are called Totalanenses or Totalaneños and the nickname is Rebotaos.

It is the municipality with the highest well-being in the province of Malaga, according to the Synthetic Indicator of Economic Welfare developed by Andalusian Analysts. According to the same study, Rincón de la Victoria has the highest income per capita in Andalucia.

The Treasure Cave (in Spanish: Cueva del Tesoro), sometimes called Cueva del Higuerón, is one of only three submarine caves known in the world, and the only one in Europe. It is located in the municipality of Rincón de la Victoria, near the city of Málaga. The cave is carved into a limestone promontory, forming a cliff on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Its name comes from a legend about a treasure of the Almoravid dynasty, found, it is said, inside the cave. Human footprints from 40,000 years ago have been found at the site. It was declared a Cultural Heritage Site (Bien de Interés Cultural, BIC) in 1985.

Benajarafe is a town located on the coast of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, Spain, in the heart of Axarquia, a region that lies on the Eastern Costa del Sol, in the province of Málaga. It is located 9 kilometres from Torre del Mar and 20 kilometres from the provincial capital Malaga. Comares is one of the 31 villages that make up the comarca of Axarquía. It is bordered to the north with Riogordo, to the north, northeast and east with Cútar, to the south with El Borge, to the southwest and west with Málaga and to the northwest with Colmenar. It has a population of approximately 1,420 residents. The natives are called Moriscosos.

Benamocarra is a town and municipality in the Province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. The municipality is situated approximately 5 kilometres from Vélez-Málaga and 41 from Málaga, the provincial capital. It has a population of approximately 3,000 residents. The natives are called Benamocarreños. Its mayor since 2003 (reelected in 2007) is Abdeslam Jesús Aoulad Ben Salem Lucena of the Partido Andalucista. He was the first and still is the only, Spanish mayor of Moroccan origin. He is a member of the National Executive of the P.A., and was candidate for this party at the 2008 autonomous elections.

St. Stanislaus Kostka College (Spanish: Colegio San Estanislao de Kostka) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school and vocational training centre, located in the neighborhood of El Palo in the East District of Málaga, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1882.

Montes de Málaga Natural Park (Spanish: Parque Natural Montes de Málaga) is the name of a natural park in Andalusia, Spain. It is named after the Montes de Málaga range located near Málaga city and was established in 1989.

The Battle of Málaga (or Vélez-Málaga) was the largest naval battle in the War of the Spanish Succession. It took place on 24 August 1704 N.S. (13 August O.S.), south of Vélez-Málaga, Spain.

Toscanos (in Spanish Cortijo de Los Toscanos) is the name of an Andalusian cortijo near Vélez-Málaga in southern Spain, and was the location of an early Phoenician settlement.The Phoenician name of the settlement is unknown. The modern toponym of Toscanos is due to Italian migrants who arrived in the area in the 18th century during the reign of Charles III.

Lycée Français de Málaga (Spanish: Liceo Francés de Málaga) is a French international school in Málaga, Spain. It serves levels petite section through terminale, the final year of lycée (senior high school/sixth form college). It occupies a former sports club.
