Sarezzo

Villa Carcina (Brescian: Vila Carsìna; locally Vila Carhìna) is a comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Neighbouring communes are Concesio and Sarezzo. Situated on the river Mella, it is part of the Trompia valley.

The Val Trompia (also: Valle Trompia) is a slightly more than 50 km long valley in the Province of Brescia, northern Italy. It consists of the valleys of the river Mella and its tributaries, north of the city of Brescia. It is situated between Val Camonica, Val Sabbia and Lake Iseo.The name originates from the ancient Rhaetian people, the Trumpilini, the conquest of which by part of the Romans was more difficult than that of Cenomani of Brixia. Trumpilini people was listed as first in the Trophy of Augustus, a Roman monument erected between 25-14 BC near La Turbie in honor of Emperor Augustus, who subdued the Alpine tribes. The presence in the high part of the valley of mineral veins promoted since the antiquity an important mining activity. This encouraged the development of a remarkable iron manufacturing even for the production of weapons. For this reason, under the Venetian domination, the valley was given a special autonomy and a lighter tax regime. The Val Trompia is known for its suburban sprawl starting north of Brescia. Suburban sprawl continues for more than 20 kilometers northwards although the area is not densely populated.

With a population of 22,255 (As of 2017) it is one of the largest towns in the province of Brescia. It is situated in the Gobbia Valley, which is a side valley of the Trompia Valley.

The most important monument is Santissima, an old cloister situated on the summit of Barbisone Hill. The patroness Saint of Gussago is St. Mary.

Prealpino is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy. The underground station is the northern terminus of the line.Although there was an official ribbon cutting ceremony at the station on 2 February 2013, the line did not become operational until 2 March 2013.

Casazza is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy. The station is located beside Centro Futura, a large mixed-use development, on the west side of Via Triumplina at the intersection with Via Conicchio. Construction of the station by cut and cover required the complete rehabilitation of Via Triumplina, with five triangular skylights on the surface being the only outward sign of a much more complex underground structure.
