Gravity Studios is a recording studio in Chicago, Illinois founded in 1993 by Doug McBride. Starting with the single "Seether" by local band Veruca Salt, Gravity has hosted bands such as the Plain White T's, Silversun Pickups, and Fall Out Boy. An adjacent mastering studio, Gravity Mastering, has been used by bands and producers throughout United States.

Western was a rapid transit station on the Chicago "L", serving the Humboldt Park branch of its Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad. It opened in 1895 and closed in 1952.

The Wicker Park District is a historic district in the West Town community area of Chicago, Illinois. It is the neighborhood bounded by Bell Avenue, Caton Street, Leavitt Street, Potomac Avenue and Chicago 'L' tracks. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on April 12, 1991.The district may overlap with the Wicker Park Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Northwest Tower, popularly known as the Coyote Building, is a 12-story art deco building at the corner of North Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago. It was designed by Perkins, Chatten & Hammond and built between 1928 and 1929.

A.N. Pritzker school is located in the Wicker Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. Pritzker School serves grades K-8 with its neighborhood magnet-cluster school focused on fine and performing arts and a Regional Gifted Center. Pritzker also offers a Pre-K for all program. The school is part of the Chicago Public Schools, CPS, system. The students and its mascot are referred to as the Wildcats. Pritzker earned the 2010 Spotlight Schools Award for Academic Achievement, for Exemplary Performance in Closing the Achievement Gap, Meeting High Standards, and Opening a World of Opportunities. Additionally, Pritzker won the Spotlight Schools Award in 2009.Also in 2010, Pritzker was acknowledged by CPS as a Level 1 (Excellent Rating) in Overall School Performance.

Ted Lenart Regional Gifted Center is located in the West Chatham neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Lenart School serves grades K-8 with a selective enrollment program for gifted students. The school is part of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. Its students are referred to as the Lions.

Roberto Clemente Community Academy (commonly known as Clemente, Roberto Clemente High School) is a public 4–year high school located in the West Town community area of Chicago, Illinois. Operated by the Chicago Public Schools, the school is named for Puerto Rican baseball player Roberto Enrique Clemente (1934–1972).Gina M. Pérez, the author of The Near Northwest Side Story: Migration, Displacement, and Puerto Rican Families, wrote that in Chicago the school is known as "the Puerto Rican high school". Jennifer Domino Rudolph, author of Embodying Latino Masculinities: Producing Masculatinidad wrote that the school "is strongly associated with Puerto Rican cultural nationalism". Ana Y. Ramos-Zayas, author of National Performances: The Politics of Class, Race, and Space in Puerto Rican Chicago, wrote that the school was portrayed in the media as "the property of Puerto Rican nationalists" and "as part of Puerto Rico." Rudolph stated that media depictions of violence from Puerto Rican nationalism movements caused the school to become controversial, and that the school was associated with much of the "backlash against manifestations of Puerto Rican identity." According to Pérez, as of 2004, most West Town area residents have a sense of pride in the school, while also lamenting issues common in Chicago public schools that appear at Clemente, such as gangs and school violence, dropouts, and low test scores.

Irazu Costa Rican Restaurant is a Latin American restaurant in Chicago, Illinois that opened in 1990. It is cash only and BYOB. Irazu is located on the storied Milwaukee Avenue (Chicago) in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood on Chicago's north side. The name Irazu refers to a volcano in Costa Rica.

Damen is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line. The station serves the popular and growing Bucktown and Wicker Park neighborhoods. It is the subject of Bert Monroy's famous image Damen. From Damen, trains run at intervals of 2–7 minutes during weekday rush hours, and take 8 minutes to reach the Clark/Lake station in the Loop.Prior to 1952, the Humboldt Park Branch diverged from the line northwest of this station.On December 22, 2014, the Damen station reopened after a two-month shutdown for renovations, part of the CTA's $492 million "Your New Blue" project.

1958 West North Avenue is a building in the Wicker Park neighborhood of West Town, Chicago, located at its "Six Corners" of the intersections of Damen Avenue, North Avenue, and Milwaukee Avenue. Built in the 1870s, it had a corner turret, cornice, and mansard roof prior to the 1960s. The ground floor housed a bar continuously from 1979 until 2017; since 2005, that bar had been Tavern, a well-known nightlife haunt. It had also housed a dance club in its upper floors since the 1990s. The building is owned by Tefik Menetti of the nightclub-owning Menetti family; he purchased it from his brother Sam in February 2017.After the closure of Tavern, the ground floor remained empty until 2022, when Chase Bank made plans to consolidate two of its branches in Wicker Park to a location in the building. The branch of the bank is expected to move in during August 2023; in the previous year, the building and its neighbor experienced much restoration, including a reconstruction of the turret and cornice; however, cell towers placed on the roof prevented restoration of the mansard roofs.

Double Door, a concert hall and nightclub, was located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The venue was first opened on June 12, 1994, and was co-owned by Andrew Barrett, Sean Mulroney and Joe Shanahan. On June 12, 1994, under its current ownership, the Double Door hosted its first show, Lloyd Cole; the same week, the Smashing Pumpkins played under the name the Starchildren. The venue at 1572 N. Milwaukee Avenue had a capacity of 473 people. It was two levels with a stage, sound system, dance floor and bar on the main floor; the second was a mezzanine level, the most intimate area of the club with its lounge type setting. A second bar and dance floor, Door No. 3, was located downstairs in the basement. Notable artists who have played Double Door include local acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Material Issue, American Cosmonaut, Local H, Veruca Salt, Wilco, Liz Phair, Liquid Soul, Rise Against, Cheap Trick, Andrew Bird and Chance The Rapper, as well as a number of national and international talents, including The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Of Monsters and Men, Cypress Hill, John Legend, Kings of Leon, Kanye West, Sonic Youth, Ray LaMontagne, Har Mar Superstar, and FIDLAR. Double Door also hosted such events as MOB fest, numerous television show and movie filmings, and events sponsored by ASCAP, Maverick Records, MTV, VH1, Nike, Billboard, VICE, Starbucks and Rolling Stone magazine among many others. Scenes of the 2000 feature film High Fidelity were shot at Double Door.In 2005, the club was nearly shut down due to disagreements about its lease. The landlord, Brian Strauss, doubled the venue's rent.In 2013, Double Door's basement bar, formerly The Dirtroom, reopened as Door No. 3, with a renewed focus on up-and-coming DJs as well as special events, ranging from electro-swing and cabaret to roots reggae.After 22 years in Wicker Park, the Double Door began looking to relocate in the Logan Square neighborhood. In 2016, following further leasing disputes, the owners of the Double Door filed a proposal with the city of Chicago to allow them to begin restoring the historic Logan Square State and Savings Bank building located at 2551 N. Milwaukee Ave., about a mile from its original location.The Double Door closed due to eviction in 2017. However, by the end of 2018, more information surfaced that Double Door would be relocating instead to the Uptown neighborhood in a bank building that was formerly a theater. In June 2021, owner Sean Mulroney confirmed the purchase of the Wilson Avenue Theater with the intent to re-open the Double Door by the end of the year.

Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Orthodox Church in America Diocese of the Midwest. It is one of only two churches designed by Louis Sullivan, one of the seminal architects of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places and is designated a Chicago Landmark.
