Saint-Leonard ( LEE-oh-nard; French: Saint-Léonard [sɛ̃ leonaʁ]) is a borough (arrondissement) of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formerly a separate city, it was amalgamated into the city of Montreal in 2002. The former city was originally called Saint-Léonard de Port Maurice after Leonard of Port Maurice, an Italian saint. The borough is home to Montreal's Via Italia.

École secondaire Antoine-de-Saint-Exupéry is a Francophone public and co-educational secondary school in St. Leonard, Quebec. A part of the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l'Île, it was originally in the Roman Catholic Commission scolaire Jérôme-Le Royer before the 1998 reorganization of school districts.

Jeanne-Mance–Viger is a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It corresponds exactly to the territory of the Saint-Léonard borough of the city of Montreal. It was created for the 2003 election from Jeanne-Mance and part of Viger. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged. It was named for Jeanne Mance and jointly for Denis-Benjamin Viger and Jacques Viger (1787–1858).

Saint-Léonard—Saint-Michel (formerly Saint-Léonard) is a federal electoral district within the City of Montreal in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1988. Its population during the 2011 election was 108,811. The current member of parliament is Patricia Lattanzio who is the first woman to represent this riding since its creation and is also a member of the Liberal Party. This riding is one of the safest Liberal ridings in all of Canada having elected the last candidate with over 69% of the vote.

The Saint-Léonard Cavern or la caverne de Saint-Léonard is a cave on the island of Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. It is located underneath Pie-XII Park (Pius XII Park) in the borough of Saint-Léonard in Montreal. It is a registered historic site. The cavern has restricted access but guided tours are available.

Hochelaga County was a historic county on the Island of Montreal in the province of Quebec. It existed between 1855 and 1921.

Anjou–Louis-Riel is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It is located in northern Montreal and consists of the entire Anjou borough of Montreal plus a part of the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough. The riding was created in 1972 under the name Anjou. For the 2012 election, it was renamed to Anjou–Louis-Riel, but its territory was unchanged.

Aime Renaud High School was a Catholic public English and mixed Junior High School in the east end of Montreal. It was initially located in the then City of Saint-Leonard and then later in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough in the City of Montreal. Its sports teams competed as the Vikings. The team colours were black and grey.

Viau is a provincial electoral district in the city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of the Districts of Saint-Michel and François-Perrault (east of Papineau Avenue) in the Borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension in Montreal. It was created for the 1973 election from parts of Dorion, Gouin, Jeanne-Mance and Olier electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged. The riding is named after former Quebec businessman Charles-Théodore Viau, founder of the Biscuits Viau company.

Perspectives II High School is an outreach high school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is run under the English Montreal School Board. PII (as it is known) formed at the start of the 2003-2004 academic year as an Outreach school dedicated to helping east-end EMSB students adapt to a new academic environment after experiencing difficulties in a regular high school.

The Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) (French: Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal), in Montreal, Quebec, is a specialty hospital dedicated to the development of cardiology, which is affiliated with the Université de Montréal. The MHI is founded in 1954 by Paul David, and it is considered one of the largest cardiology institutes in the world, which is the first educational hospital on cardiovascular diseases in Canada, and is ranked as one of the largest preventive medicine centre in Quebec.Prominent Montreal businessman J. Louis Levesque was a major benefactor whose initial $1 million donation in 1969 doubled the research department's budget. Levesque supported the Institute for more than a quarter of a century, donating more than $10 million.The MHI was ranked number one research hospital in Canada for researcher intensity, and research expenditure per researcher, on the 2015 list of "Canada's Top 40 Research Hospitals" published by Research Infosource.

Little Maghreb (French: Petit Maghreb) is a neighbourhood in the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension in Montreal. The neighbourhood is centered on fifteen blocks of Jean Talon Street stretching from Saint-Michel Boulevard in the West to Pie-IX Boulevard in the East. Maghrebi merchants in the area, mainly from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, have joined together to create a Little Maghreb identity for the neighbourhood, in the same way as Chinatown had become a symbol for Chinese Montrealers, and Little Italy had become the focal point of the city's Italian community.Originally a part of the Saint-Michel neighbourhood, the late 1990s marked the beginning of the neighbourhood's Maghrebi flavour. This was a product of the opening of the Dar Al-Arkam Mosque on the corner of Jean-Talon and 17th Avenue and the arrival of thousands of immigrants from Algeria, Morocco, Libya, and Tunisia.Little Maghreb is served by the Saint-Michel Metro station on the Blue Line.
